Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil d'affichage comprenant un moyen d'affichage avant (10) et un moyen d'affichage arrière (50) placé derrière le moyen d'affichage avant (10), le moyen d'affichage avant (10) et le moyen d'affichage arrière (50) étant placés de sorte que des images sur le moyen d'affichage arrière (50) sont visibles à travers une partie du moyen d'affichage avant. Le moyen d'affichage avant (10) comprend: un panneau d'affichage (20) présentant une surface avant et une surface arrière sur lesquelles sont formés un premier film polarisant (22) et un second film polarisant (28), respectivement, le premier film polarisant (22) et le second film polarisant (28) présentant des axes de polarisation qui se coupent selon un angle droit; et un système de rétroéclairage (30) qui est placé derrière le panneau d'affichage (20), et qui comprend une plaque guide de lumière (32) présentant une fenêtre de projection (36) à travers laquelle est visible le moyen d'affichage arrière (50), et des sources de lumière (34) placées sur la circonférence de la plaque guide de lumière (32). Le premier film polarisant (22) et le second film polarisant (28) du panneau d'affichage (20) présentent des régions non polarisantes (22b, 28b) respectives formées par découpe des régions correspondant à la fenêtre de projection (36). Aucune polarisation ne se produit dans les régions non polarisantes (22b, 28b) du premier film polarisant (22) et du second film polarisant (28), de sorte qu'une image sur le panneau d'affichage (20) est déconnectée, et la capacité de projection d'image du moyen d'affichage arrière (50) est améliorée pour obtenir une netteté d'image améliorée sur le moyen d'affichage arrière.
