Abstract

The invention relates to a glass-recycling machine for obtaining cullet, of the type that comprises: a supporting structure (1), glass supply means, and cullet-storage and -removal means (10) formed by storage compartments that receive cullet from a selective discharge hopper (4). The invention also includes colour-detection means which distinguish between the types of glass, activating the selective discharge hopper (4) in order to position the zone or receptacle corresponding to the colour detected, as well as crushing means (3, 5). According to the invention, once the colour of the glass has been detected and the glass has been pressed and crushed in the crushing means (3, 5), the glass then passes into the selective discharge hopper (4) which is positioned according to the colour of glass detected and which contains screening means (8) for removing unwanted contaminants.
