Abstract

L'invention porte sur des procédés et sur un appareil de filtrage adaptatif efficace pour des codeurs et des décodeurs vidéo. L'appareil comprend un codeur vidéo (100) destiné à coder des données d'image pour au moins une partie d'une image à l'aide d'un filtrage adaptatif. Le codeur vidéo (100) comprend un filtre adaptatif destiné à effectuer le filtrage adaptatif. Un ensemble final de coefficients de filtre utilisé pour le filtrage adaptatif est déterminé par l'estimation itérative d'une pluralité d'ensembles de coefficients de filtre et sélection d'un ensemble estimé final parmi la pluralité d'ensembles de coefficient de filtres en tant qu'ensemble final de coefficients de filtre lorsqu'une dernière itération correspondant au dernier ensemble estimé de la pluralité d'ensembles de coefficients de filtre conduit à une amélioration de qualité au-dessus d'une valeur seuil pour ladite partie.
