Abstract
For an optimised energy management in private households, it is desirable to control the operation of individual current consumers in an automated manner, taking into account dynamic electricity rates. It should also be avoided that new household appliances need to be acquired in order to implement said solution. To this end, a smart adapter which is connected between the power supply and the household appliance is provided to carry out intelligent switching on and off.
