Abstract
An electro-optical cable (1) for transmitting data and/or energy comprises a central buffered fiber (10), inside which at least one optical waveguide (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d) is arranged and which is surrounded by at least one first tubular and electrically conducting braided structure (20) in a coaxial arrangement. At least one second tubular, electrically conducting layer which is designed as a layer of stranded wires (40) is coaxially arranged around the central buffered fiber (20).
