Abstract
본 발명은 배터리 관리 시스템의 셀 전압 밸런싱을 위한 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 배터리 관리 시스템의 셀 전압 밸런싱을 위한 제어방법은 전기 에너지를 이용하는 자동차에 사용되는 배터리 관리 시스템(Battery management system)의 복수의 셀 전압 밸런싱을 위한 제어방법에 있어서, 각각의 셀 전압의 크기를 식별하는 단계; 복수의 셀 전압들 중 임의로 선택된 두 개의 셀 전압의 차이가 기준치 미만인지를 판별하는 단계; 및 상기 두 개의 셀 전압의 차이가, 비교레퍼런스로 설정된 제1구간 레퍼런스 영역과 제2구간 레퍼런스 영역 중 어느 영역에 속하는지를 판별하는 단계;를 구비하여서, 그 판별결과에 따라 서로 다른 두 개의 밸런싱 전압으로 셀 밸런싱이 이루어지도록 하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
