Abstract

In the present invention, a leak and cut sensing device in tape form is provided on a pipe so as to accurately determine leak locations, thereby providing a pipe having a leaking-fluid and pipe-cut sensing device devised in such a way that it is straightforward to install and allows instant repair by inexpensively sensing whether a fluid is leaking. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention for achieving aims such as the above, the leak and cut sensing device is provided either positioned in spiral form around the outside of piping in which a fluid is flowing or in linear form on the outside in the length direction of the piping, and formed on the outside thereof there is a coating layer for protecting the leak and cut sensing device from the external environment, the leak and cut sensing device being constituted in such a way that it is formed with: a base layer comprising an insulating material; and at least 2 electrically conductive lines formed on the surface of the base layer, in the length direction.
