Abstract

The present invention relates to a leakage prevention apparatus for a toilet, and particularly, to an apparatus that is linked to the toilet seat of a toilet and prevents liquid from splashing to the outside when urinating in the toilet. The leakage prevention apparatus for a toilet of the present invention comprises: first bevel gears having gear shafts of a predetermined length installed and configured so as to be interlinked with a toilet seat of a toilet at both sides thereof; second bevel gears provided with gear shafts of a predetermined length rotatably fixed below and in engagement with the first bevel gears at both sides; connecting members coupled to the bottoms of the gear shafts, such that the length thereof is adjustable, and curved inward from the gear shafts at a predetermined angle; a leakage prevention member of a predetermined length pivotably coupled, at either end thereof, to ends of the connecting members at both sides; and a leakage prevention cloth of a predetermined width, one side of which is attached to the leakage prevention member and the other side of which is attached to an outer body of the toilet.
