小区更新方法及系统 技术领域
本发明涉及移动通信领域中小区更新技术, 尤其涉及一种小区更新方 法及系统。 背景技术
为了提供第二代移动通信系统因技术局限而无法提供的宽带移动通信 业务, 国际电信联盟电信标准化局(ITU-T )提出第三代移动通信系统。 宽 带码分多址 (WCDMA )作为第三代移动通信的主要候选方案之一, 基于 全球移动通信系统移动网络应用部分( GSM MAP )核心网, 以通用移动通 信系统(UMTS ) 陆地无线接入网 (UTRAN ) 为无线接口, 因其能够很好 的兼容 GSM系统而获得了广泛的应用。
在 WCDMA中, 小区更新( Cell Update )技术是 WCDMA接入技术中 的一个重要的过程, 当处于连接状态的用户设备(UE, User Equipment )发 生了位置的变更、 无线链路失败等情况时, 就需要釆用这个过程通知网络, 实现位置区域的更新、 或获得新的无线资源。 UE发起小区更新的原因主要 有以下几种:
1 )当处于位置区―寻呼信道( URA— PCH )或小区―寻呼信道( Cell— PCH ) 状态的 UE重新进入服务区域时要通知网络,发起位置区更新( URA Update ) 或 Cell Update过程;
2 )在确认模式-无线链路控制 (AM RLC ) 实体上有一个不可修复的 RLC错误时要通知网络, 发起 Cell Update;
3 )处于小区 前向接入信道(Cell_FACH )、 Cell_PCH、 URA PCH状 态的 UE周期性地发起 Cell Update或 URA Update过程; 4 ) 当小区重选之后需要实施小区更新, UE处于除了小区—专用传输信 道(Cell_DCH )状态外的其他连接状态;
5 ) 处于 Cell— DCH 的 UE 发生无线链路失败或传输 UE 性能信息 ( Capability Information ) 失败时发起 Cell Update;
6 ) 由于收到网络的寻呼、 或上行传输数据请求从 Cell— PCH状态、 URA PCH状态转到 Cell— FACH状态, 需要发起 Cell Update;
7 )处于除 Cell— DCH状态外的连接状态的 UE接收多媒体广播多播业 务( MBMS ) 时, 需要发起 Cell Update。
由上可知, 小区更新流程广泛应用于无线网络控制器 (RNC , Radio Network Controller )及其所辖基站内, 也应用于存在 Iur接口的 RNC之间, 主要是基于 Iur接口无线网络子系统应用部分( RNSAP , Radio Network Subsystem Application Part )协议中的信令过程实现的, 具体地说^^于上 行链路信令传递指示 ( Uplink Signaling Transfer Indication ), 实现过程中, 还可能根据实际情况对目标 RNC发起 RNSAP协议中的无线链路建立过程 或公共传输信道资源初始化过程, 对源 RNC发起 RNSAP协议中的无线链 路删除过程或公共传输信号资源释放过程。
RNC之间小区更新的处理过程是: 处于连接状态的 UE, 如 Cell— DCH 状态、 或 Cell— FACH状态、 或 Cell— PCH状态、 或 URA— PCH状态, 由于 上述的某种原因阻留到另一个 RNC (该 RNC称为漂移 RNC ( DRNC )、 或 目标 RNC ( TRNC ) )所辖小区后, UE向 DRNC发送小区更新消息; DRNC 收到该消息后, 通过 RNC之间的 Iur接口向源 RNC ( SRNC )发送上行链 路信令传递指示; SRNC发起服务无线网络子系统重定位( SRNS Relocation ) 过程; 重定位过程结束后, DRNC向 UE发送小区更新确认消息; 小区更新 过程结束, 需视需要继续进行后续信令过程。
现代无线网络系统建设中, 室内覆盖已经成为网络建设的重中之重, 合适的室内覆盖方案一方面可以让网络最大程度地发挥其作用, 为运营商 创造更大的价值, 另一方面也可以大大节省运营商的建网成本, 真正实现 低投入高回报。 由此, 一种叫做家庭基站(Home NB ) 的无线接入设备应 运而生。 家庭基站作为私人用户的专属资源被部署在家庭、 团体、 公司或 者是学校等私人场所使用, 能够给用户提供各种高速无线接入服务并提供 资费上的优惠, 同时弥补已有分布式蜂窝无线通信系统覆盖不足的矛盾。
图 1为 WCDMA系统的网络布局的示意图,如图 1所示 ,在该 WCDMA 系统中引入了家庭基站, 家庭基站通过家庭基站网关与核心网相连, 家庭 基站与家庭基站网关的接口为 Iuh。 家庭基站网关为家庭基站提供如注册等 服务, 家庭基站网关类似 RNC, 使得现有的核心网能够使用现有的 Iu接口 与家庭基站网关进行通信。 然而, 家庭基站网关之间没有任何接口, 无法 直接进行通信。
随着家庭基站的广泛部署以及用户的大量增加, 原位于家庭基站的处 于连接状态的 UE, 由于某种原因发起小区更新后, 如果目标小区不是源家 庭基站小区, 无法进行小区更新, 网络将主动释放该 UE, UE将回到空闲 状态, 这将严重的影响用户的体验; 同样, 当原位于宏小区的处于连接状 态的 UE, 在发起小区更新后, 如果目标小区是家庭基站小区, 也会出现释 放的问题。
因此, 如何处理家庭基站网关之间或家庭基站网关与 RNC之间的小区 更新流程成为需要解决的问题。 发明内容
有鉴于此, 本发明的主要目的在于提供一种小区更新方法及系统, 能 够实现家庭基站网关之间或家庭基站网关与 RNC之间的 UE小区更新。
为达到上述目的, 本发明的技术方案是这样实现的:
本发明提供了一种小区更新方法, 包括: 目标家庭基站接收用户设备 UE发送的小区更新信令;
目标家庭基站通过家庭基站网关和核心网向源无线网络控制器 SRNC 发送携带小区更新信息的信令, 或者目标家庭基站通过家庭基站网关向源 家庭基站发送携带小区更新信息的信令;
目标家庭基站接收 SRNC或源家庭基站返回的携带 UE通信上下文信 息的信令;
目标家庭基站为 UE分配相应的无线资源并向 UE发送小区更新确认消 息。
其中, 所述通过家庭基站网关向源家庭基站发送携带小区更新信息的 信令包括:
所述目标家庭基站与所述源家庭基站属于不同的家庭基站网关时, 所 述目标家庭基站通过其所属的家庭基站网关将所述携带小区更新信息的信 令发送给所述源家庭基站所属的家庭基站网关, 然后由源家庭基站所属的 家庭基站网关将所述携带小区更新信息的信令发送给源家庭基站; 或者, 所述目标家庭基站与所述源家庭基站属于相同的家庭基站网关时, 所 述目标家庭基站通过其所属的家庭基站网关将所述携带小区更新信息的信 令发送给所述源家庭基站。

本发明的基本思想是: 通过核心网、 或通过 RNC与家庭基站网关之间 的接口、 或家庭基站网关之间的接口传递携带小区更新信息的信令, 从而 实现 UE无限制地进行小区更新, 提高用户的体验。
为使本发明的目的、 技术方案和优点更加清楚, 以下结合附图对本发 明作进一步地详细描述。
图 2为本发明小区更新方法的流程示意图, 如图 2所示, 本发明方法 包括:
步骤 1、 源家庭基站所属的家庭基站网关或 SRNC接收 TRNC或目标 家庭基站所属的家庭基站网关发来的携带小区更新信息的信令;
本步骤中, 携带小区更新信息的信令为小区更新请求、 重定位请求或 上行链路信令传递指示信令, 本发明不限定该信令的名称; 该携带小区更 新信息的信令中包含源家庭基站 /SRNC及 TRNC/目标家庭基站的路由信息 和小区更新原因, 路由信息包括: 位置区识别码 ( LAI , Location Area Identity ), 路由区代码(RAC, Routing Area Code ), 和 /或 RNC标识 /家庭 基站网关标识 /家庭基站标识; 携带小区更新信息的信令的其他内容可以放 在透明容器 ( Transparent container ) 中。
步骤 2、 源家庭基站或 SRNC组织 UE通信上下文信息( UE Context ) , 并发送携带 UE Context的信令给 TRNC或目标家庭基站;
本步骤中, UE Context包括建立的无线接入承载 ( RAB )信息、 分配 的无线资源信息、 数据业务信息等;
另外, SRNC/源家庭基站在发送携带 UE Context的信令后可以释放原 先分配给该 UE的无线资源。
步骤 3、 TRNC或目标家庭基站为 UE分配相应的无线资源并向 UE发 送小区更新确认( Cell Update Confirm ) 消息;
本步骤中, 小区更新确认消息中包含新分配的 S-RNTI、 小区—无线网 络临时标识( C-RNTI ), 以及 RAB的配置信息, 还可以包括家庭基站所属 家庭基站网关的标识;
为 UE分配相应的无线资源包括: 分配新的服务 RNC无线网络临时标 识(S-RNTI ), 必要的话还会建立无线链路、 或重配置物理信道、 或重配置 传输信道等。
本发明方法进一步包括: UE收到小区更新确认消息后, 向 TRNC或目 标家庭基站返回响应消息; 响应消息可以为: UTRAN 移动性信息确认 ( UTRAN Mobility Information Confirm )、或物理信道重配置完成( Physical Channel Reconfiguration Complete )、 或传输信道重西己置完成 ( Transport Channel Reconfiguration Complete )、 或无线 载重西己置冗成 ( Radio Bearer Reconfiguration Complete )等响应消息。
本发明中, 家庭基站网关之间或家庭基站网关与 RNC之间的通信通过 二者之间的接口或者核心网实现。 家庭基站网关之间、 以及家庭基站网关 与 RNC之间的接口可基于异步传输模式(ATM )或 IP传输的协议架构, 如可以釆用现有的 Iur的协议架构。
以下通过实施例和附图进一步说明本发明小区更新方法。
实施例一
本实施例中, UE在 RNC所辖的小区中处于连接状态, 如 Cell— DCH 状态、或 Cell— FACH状态、或 Cell— PCH状态、或 URA— PCH状态,该 RNC 称为 SRNC。 在某个时刻, UE 由于无线链路失败等原因发起小区更新或 URA更新, UE选择或重选到一个新的闭合用户群( CSG, Closed Subscriber Group ) 小区, UE在该 CSG小区发起小区更新, 该 CSG小区所属的家庭 基站, 即为目标家庭基站。

本步骤中, 小区更新请求还可以为重定位请求、 或上行链路信令传递 指示等, 小区更新请求包含目标家庭基站及 SRNC的路由信息和小区更新 原因, 路由信息包括: 位置区识别码(LAI, Location Area Identity ), 路由 区代码( RAC , Routing Area Code )、 及 SRNC标识和家庭基站网关标识; 路由信息中还可能包括: 标识家庭基站的信息,如小区标识(Cell identity ), 或 CSG ID; 小区更新请求还可以包括 UE的无线网络临时标识( RNTI )。
步骤 13、 核心网向 SRNC发送小区更新请求;
本步骤中, 小区更新请求包含 UE的 RNTI、 目标家庭基站的路由信息 和小区更新原因。
步骤 14、 SRNC组织 UE通信上下文信息, 并发送携带 UE Context的 小区更新请求确认消息给核心网;
本步骤中, UE Context包括建立的 RAB信息、 分配的无线资源信息、 数据业务信息等;
另外, SRNC在发送该小区更新请求确认消息后可以释放原先分配给该 UE的无线资源。
步骤 15、 核心网向家庭基站网关发送小区更新请求确认消息, 家庭基 站网关将该小区更新请求确认消息转发给目标家庭基站;
步骤 16、 目标家庭基站为 UE分配相应的无线资源, 向 UE发送小区 更新确认( Cell Update Confirm ) 消息;
小区更新确认消息中包含新分配的 S-RNTI、 C-RNTI, 以及 RAB的配 置信息, 还可以包括家庭基站所属的家庭基站网关的标识。
步骤 17、UE收到小区更新确认消息后,向目标家庭基站返回响应消息; 通过上述步骤, UE侧已经成功地完成小区更新流程, UE 已经阻留在 新的 CSG小区。
需要说明的是,本实施例釆用的是通过小区更新请求从 SRNC获取 UE 通信上下文信息, 完成小区更新流程。 该小区更新流程也可以在 SRNC收 到小区更新请求的信息后, 通过重定位流程来实现: 即 SRNC通过核心网 向目标家庭基站发送重定位请求(Relocation Request ), 在源侧, SRNC向 核心网发送的是重定位需求( Relocation Required ); 目标家庭基站为 UE分 配无线资源后, 通过核心网向 SRNC 发送重定位命令 ( Relocation Command ), 在目标侧, 目标家庭基站通过家庭基站网关向核心网发送的是 重定位请求确认 ( Relocation Request Acknowledge )消息, 同时目标家庭基 站向 UE发送小区更新确认消息; 目标家庭基站在收到 UE的 UTRAN移动 性信息确认等响应消息后向核心网发送重定位完成( Relocation Complete ) 等消息; 核心网会向 SRNC发送 Iu释放命令 ( Iu Release Command )释放 该 UE的无线资源。
本实施例中, UE原先位于 SRNC所辖小区中, 如果 UE原先位于家庭 基站 (源家庭基站) 所辖小区中, 处理过程与上面类似, 只是小区更新请 求需要通过核心网和 /或家庭基站网关发送给源家庭基站, 如果源家庭基站 和目标家庭基站不属于同一个家庭基站网关, 小区更新请求的传递需要经 过源和目标两个家庭基站网关, 借助两个家庭基站网关之间的接口或核心 网实现。 特别地, 如果源家庭基站与目标家庭基站同属一个家庭基站网关, 可以不通过核心网发送小区更新请求, 只需通过家庭基站网关向源家庭基 站发送目标家庭基站发来的小区更新请求、 重定位请求、 或上行链路信令 传递指示, 即可实现 UE的小区更新流程。 如果 UE选择的目标小区是另一 个 RNC的所辖小区, 该 TRNC与 SRNC之间没有 lur接口, 也可以釆用本 实施例所用的方法实施小区更新。
实施例二
本实施例中, UE在家庭基站所辖的小区中处于连接状态,如 Cell— DCH 状态、 或 Cell— FACH状态、 或 Cell— PCH状态、 或 URA— PCH状态, 该家 庭基站称为源家庭基站。 在某个时刻, UE由于无线链路失败或不可修复的 RLC错误等原因发起小区更新或 URA 更新, UE选择或重选到一个新的 RNC所辖该宏小区中,该 RNC称为 TRNC, UE在该宏小区发起小区更新。
图 4为本发明小区更新方法实施例二的流程示意图, 如图 4所示, 本 发明方法包括:
步骤 21、 UE向 TRNC发送小区更新信令;
本步骤中, 小区更新信令中携带 U-RNTI, 该 U-RNTI由 SRNC标识和 S-RNTI组成, 此时 SRNC标识表示的是源家庭基站所属的家庭基站网关的 标识。
步骤 22、 TRNC向核心网发送小区更新请求;
步骤 23、核心网向源家庭基站所属的家庭基站网关发送小区更新请求, 该家庭基站网关将该小区更新请求转发给源家庭基站;
步骤 24、 源家庭基站组织 UE Context, 并发送携带 UE Context的小区 更新请求确认消息给所属的家庭基站网关, 家庭基站网关将小区更新请求 确认消息转发给核心网;

步骤 25、 核心网向 TRNC发送小区更新请求确认消息, TRNC收到该 消息后, 为该 UE分配相应的无线资源, 向 UE发送小区更新确认消息; 本步骤中 , 为该 UE分配相应的无线资源, 如新的服务 RNC无线网络 临时标识 S-RNTI, 必要的话还会建立无线链路、 或重配置物理信道、 或重 配置传输信道、 或重配置无线承载等;
小区更新确认消息中包含新分配的 S-RNTI、 C-RNTI, 以及 RAB的配 置信息, 还可以包括 TRNC的标识。
步骤 26、 UE收到小区更新确认消息后 , 向 TRNC返回响应消息; 通过上述步骤, UE侧完成小区更新流程, UE已经阻留在新的宏小区。 需要说明的是, 本实施例釆用的是通过小区更新请求从源家庭基站获 取 UE通信上下文信息, 完成小区更新流程。该小区更新流程也可以在源家 庭基站收到小区更新请求的信息后, 通过重定位流程来实现。
实施例三
本实施例中, 在 RNC与家庭基站网关之间建立接口, 以便 RNC与家 庭基站网关之间能够直接通信, RNC与家庭基站网关的接口可基于 ATM或 IP传输的协议架构, 如可以釆用现有的 Iur的协议架构。 UE 在 RNC 所辖的小区中处于连接状态, 如 Cell— DCH 状态、 或 Cell FACH状态、或 Cell— PCH状态、或 URA— PCH状态,该 RNC称为 SRNC。 在某个时刻, UE由于无线链路失败等原因发起小区更新或 URA更新, UE 选择或重选到一个新的 CSG小区, UE在该 CSG区发起小区更新, 该 CSG 小区所属的家庭基站, 即目标家庭基站。
图 5为本发明小区更新方法实施例三的流程示意图, 如图 5所示, 本 发明方法包括:
步骤 31、 UE向目标家庭基站发送小区更新信令;
本步骤中, 小区更新信令中携带 U-RNTI, 该 U-RNTI由 SRNC标识和 UE的 S-RNTI组成。

本实施例中, UE原先位于 SRNC所辖小区中, 如果原先 UE位于源家 庭基站所辖小区中, 只要源家庭基站所属的家庭基站网关与目标家庭基站 所属的家庭基站网关之间存在类似的接口, 就可以釆用上述方法实现小区 更新过程。 特别的如果源家庭基站与目标家庭基站属于同一个家庭基站网 关, 可以通过家庭基站网关直接传递小区更新请求的信息。
实施例四
本实施例与实施例三不同之处在于: 本实施例釆用现有的重定位流程 实现小区更新的过程。
图 6为本发明小区更新方法实施例四的流程示意图, 如图 6所示, 本 发明方法包括:
步骤 41、 UE向目标家庭基站发送小区更新信令;
本步骤中, 小区更新信令中携带 U-RNTI, 该 U-RNTI由 SRNC标识和 S-RNTI组成。
步骤 42、 目标家庭基站向所属的家庭基站网关发送小区更新请求, 家 庭基站网关通过与 SRNC之间的接口向 SRNC发送上行链路信令传递指示。

需要说明的是, 家庭基站网关收到重定位委托后, 可以一方面通知家 庭基站重定位委托, 另一方面同时向核心网发送重定位探测。

1、 一种小区更新方法, 其特征在于, 包括:
目标家庭基站接收用户设备 UE发送的小区更新信令;
目标家庭基站通过家庭基站网关和核心网向源无线网络控制器 SRNC 发送携带小区更新信息的信令, 或者目标家庭基站通过家庭基站网关向源 家庭基站发送携带小区更新信息的信令;
目标家庭基站接收 SRNC或源家庭基站返回的携带 UE通信上下文信 息的信令; 新确认消息。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的小区更新方法, 其特征在于, 所述通过家庭 基站网关向源家庭基站发送携带小区更新信息的信令包括:
所述目标家庭基站与所述源家庭基站属于不同的家庭基站网关时, 所 述目标家庭基站通过其所属的家庭基站网关将所述携带小区更新信息的信 令发送给所述源家庭基站所属的家庭基站网关, 然后由源家庭基站所属的 家庭基站网关将所述携带小区更新信息的信令发送给源家庭基站; 或者, 所述目标家庭基站与所述源家庭基站属于相同的家庭基站网关时, 所 述目标家庭基站通过其所属的家庭基站网关将所述携带小区更新信息的信 令发送给所述源家庭基站。
