Abstract

It is an object of the invention an anticounterfeit method for paper products, which provides the incorporation of an authentication code in the paper, permanently and immovably incorporated in the fibrous body of the paper by its introduction during the paper mill manufacturing steps; such authentication code, consisting of a combination of tracing mineral pigments, can be unmistakably decoded in a qualitative and quantitative way by using simple and widespread analytical systems. It is also an object of the invention a method of analytically controlling the presence of the marking and decoding of the authentication code.
