Abstract

The present invention patent relates to a device for measuring the thickness of bones and gums, used for pre-surgery testing in odontological clinics, comprising a traditional digital pachymeter, to the left side of which is attached a left millimetric odontological probe measuring 5 mm and having a pointed tip (2), for outer measurements (1), and to the right side of which is attached a right millimetric odontological probe measuring 5 mm and having a pointed tip (12), for outer measurements, such that when the probes are inserted into the gums and contact the bone simultaneously, they show on the digital display (LCD 3), with 0.01 mm precision, the thickness of the mouth bone, besides providing the thickness of the gums by means of millimetric marks along the left millimetric odontological probe of 5 mm with a pointed tip (2) and along the right millimetric odontological probe of 5 mm with a pointed tip (12).
