[5] If a server-side device is installed on the server, the server reacts to a notification and sends a response without inappropriate content back to the browser. [6] If a server side device is not installed on the server, the server does not react to the presence of the notification and the requested content is sent back to the browser.

A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FILTERING INTERNET CONTENT Technical Field
The present disclosure relates generally to a system for regulating the online content delivered from a remote online source to a local content requester.
Background Art
The present invention relates generally to computers, phones, mobile devices such as PDAs, iPhones, etc, TVs, credit and debit cards, Internet and/or cable or other networks, credit card processing systems and more specifically to filtering software and/or hardware and/or systems that blocks (or filters) a content including, but not limited to, a content that parents or owners considered to be inappropriate for minors or others (such as pornography, gambling, certain types of advertising or all advertising, violence etc) and to system(s) that provide(s) certain content and/or certain
transaction(s). Currently , systems that block or filter informational content try to decide whether or not content that is obtained from a network (for instance from the Internet) is appropriate. The -decision process is complicated, that's why such systems are ineffective. For instance, (Houghton-Jan, S. "Internet Filtering Software Tests:
Barracuda, CyberPatrol, FilterGate, & WebSense" San Jose Public library, 2008) states that image searching filters were only 44% accurate. There is a possibility that minors or others will circumvent the system for example by altering the database it uses.
On the other hand, current systems that provides certain content (including advertising) either provide said content (including advertising) indiscriminately and even to the wrong audience (for instance atheistic propaganda to religious customer) or at best attempt to analyze a customer's browsing habits or current request and provide advertising on this basis, which can be wrong as well. For example, if a customer is a rocket scientist and he/she browse an Internet for rockets and launch pads, that does not necessarily means that he/she is going to buy a rocket or a launch pad. Maybe, he/she wants to buy a car instead at the moment and will be interested in car advertisement which is not automatically provided to him/her because of his/her browsing habits or current request. So existing content provider systems (including advertising systems) at best attempt to guess what a customer wants or ( even worse) try to impose often unwanted content on every customer. Both approaches make traditional content provider systems (including advertising) very ineffective , at best.
All credit and/or debit card processing systems treat credit and/or debit cards like money. The above sentence means that a person that uses a credit or a debit card (including a thief that steals a credit/debit card from a legitimate owner) can perform any transaction within the current credit card limit and/or debit card balance (with possible regard to overdraft). So for instance minors can use a father's/mother's card to pay for gambling, pornography etc within full current credit card limit and/or debit card balance. The same is true for criminals that stole a certain credit and/or debit card(s). No positive or negative notification in our terms is assumed, so there is no additional protection for legitimate credit/debit card owners. However, in contrast to regular money, credit and/or debit card(s) together with network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s) can provide such a protection if this present invention is used. Moreover, in regards to payment(s) for certain activities, the beneficiary of such payment(s) can be liable if his/her system of payment (including but not limited to a credit card processing system) is not secure enough.
For instance, let's say that certain kind of gambling is forbidden in certain states. In this case arguments that beneficiary unknowingly accepted bets from said states residents as a user of said systems was required to enter his/her address in payment systems that are not secure enough are often rejected by courts.

N.Y.S.2cd 844 (N.Y.Sup.1999) Court rejected arguments, in part, because users can easily circumvent said system by entering address that belonged to other state(s). If the present invention had been used, the requirement for positive notification (in our terms) with possible bounding of IP from which request(s) is (are) issued to a certain location and/or checking of credit card data (say legal address of the owner) within subsystem (b) would make this kind of fraud almost impossible.
In all known such systems , subsystem (b) which is a software and/or hardware that can be installed for example on a server (or servers and/or any other processing device(s) and/or system(s) and/or tool(s) and/or network(s) of any nature including : but not limited to , any network or processing system and/or subsystem (b) can be a part of or work in conjunction with existing software and/or hardware) that can react to the described above positive and/or negative notification(s) that is (are) sent from client's device(s) or tool(s) (or formed under regular usage of client device(s) and/or tool(s) within described condition(s)) is absent. This fact allows most of such systems to be easily circumvented even by minors.

All known systems and methods for filtering or blocking of content and/or material(s) that is (are) delivered on a client's device(s) and/or tool(s) (including but not limited to Internet content, phone content, cable content etc.) attempt to determine on the client side (i.e. on a customer's device(s) and/or tool(s), mostly on a computer) whether or not content is appropriate (in our terms this is subsystem (a)).
In other words existing filtering (or blocking) systems attempt to work against servers (or other equipment for content delivery) with said content rather than to cooperate with said servers (or other said equipment) in a task of prevention from appearing of said -A- content on client's device(s) (for example, computers, phones , TV, and/or cable devices).
Existing systems for content delivery indiscriminately deliver any content (including but not limited to unwanted advertising) to any client's device that is connected to such systems. There is no possibility for the client to automatically order personal advertising content. For instance if a customer wants to buy a car (but not a house) he/she may be interested in advertising for cars, not advertising for houses and perhaps would like to obtain advertising for cars right a way when he/she connects to the Internet. Any other advertising in this situation will be counter productive as a customer not only will not buy advertised good(s) and/or service(s) but will be frustrated and may not buy them even in the future from this specific vendor as a retaliation for such obtrusive
advertizing. There is no way in existing systems for the customer to make positive notification in our terms.
All credit and/or debit card processing systems and/or devices and/or tools and/or transaction processing systems treat a credit and/or debit cards like money. The above sentence means that a person that uses a credit or debit card (including a thief that steals a credit card from a legitimate owner) can perform any transaction within the current credit card limit and/or debit card balance (with possible regard to overdraft). Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
In general, this invention includes a system for excluding inappropriate content from the response to an Internet request, in which [1 ], a user makes a content request from a browser or hyperlink on a computer, [2] a client-side device on the computer intercepts the request and adds a notification that computer owner does not want inappropriate content in the response, and [3] the request with notification is sent through the Internet, to a server. [5] If a server-side device is installed on the server, the server reacts to a notification and sends a response without inappropriate content back to the browser. [6] If a server side device is not installed on the server, the server does not react to the presence of the notification and the requested content is sent back to the browser.
Usage of this new invention, because of subsystem (b) that cannot be circumvented from said client's equipment, makes all instructions on circumvention of such systems obsolete and useless. A method and a system for filtering and/or providing of content received by client's device(s) (including but not limited to Internet content) and/or tool(s) and/or
transaction(s) that is (are) performed with said device(s) and/or tool(s) that can be connected to network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s).
A method and a system for filtering and/or providing of content received by a client's device(s) (including but not limited to Internet content) and/or tool(s) and/or
transaction(s) that is (are) performed with said device(s) and/or tool(s) that can be connected to network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s). The method consists of the following steps.
Providing a network(s) and/or transaction processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s) to which a client's device(s) and/or tool(s) can be connected with a positive or a negative notification(s). A positive notification (or notifications) means that the owner of said device(s) and/or tool(s) wants certain content to be delivered from a network (or networks) on his/her device(s) and/or tool(s), and/or certain type(s) of transaction(s) (including all possible under such conditions transactions) which is (are) originated from and/or is (are) performed with participation of his/her property (including but not limited to credit and/or debit card(s)) to be processed. Positive notification(s) can be used instead of or in addition to regular request(s) for information from a network and/or request(s) for transaction processing to a network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s). Negative notification(s) means that the owner of said device(s) and/or tool(s) does not want certain content to be delivered from a network (or networks) on his/her device(s) and/or tool(s), and/or does not want certain type(s) of transaction(s) (including all possible under such conditions transactions) which is are) originated from and/or is (are) performed with participation of his/her property (including but not limited to credit and/or debit card(s)) to be processed. Unwanted content may include : but is not limited to, the following: inappropriate material(s) for minors or others such as pornography, gambling, certain types of advertising or all advertising, violence etc.
Processing positive and/or negative notification(s) within said network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s) if needed. Said processing can be done for example on a server (or any equipment that includes : but is not limited to: servers or any other processing device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or system(s) and/or network(s) of any nature including but not limited to any network or processing system).
A method is implemented by a system that consists of subsystem (a) which is filtering software and/or hardware installed on a client's device(s) or tool(s) (including : but not limited to , computer(s), mobile device(s) such as iPhone(s), PDA(s) etc, regular phone(s), cell phone(s), TV(s), credit and/or debit card(s) etc.) or subsystem is designed to be a separate device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or a set (s) of said devices and/or tool(s) and/or any part of said set or is designed to work with or to be a part of existing soft and/or hardware of said equipment that can be connected to a network and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s) (including : but not limited to , Internet, phone network(s), TV network(s), credit and/or debit card(s) processing system(s), cable network(s) etc) that can provide a negative notification or a positive notification and/or certain pre-determined condition(s) (for example time constrains) that provide(s) said notification(s) within regular usage of said device(s) and/or tool(s).
In case of certain pre-determined condition(s) (for instance within certain time
constraints) just regular usage of said device(s) may constitute a positive or a negative notification. Said devices can include : but are not limited to , the following: computers or any other devices (cell phones, i Phones, PDAs etc) that can be connected to the Internet and/or other types of network(s) and/or credit/debit card(s) including, but not limited to, credit/debit card(s) with a microchip(s) and/or special script(s) and/or encoding(s) and/or any other piece of information that can be sent to credit card processing system(s) etc. The System also includes subsystem (b) which is software and/or hardware that reacts to said notification (which will also be described below) that is sent by the subsystem (a). Subsystem (b) can be installed for example on a server (or other equipment including : but not limited to the following: servers or any other processing device(s) and/or system(s) and/or tool(s) and/or network(s) of any nature including : but not limited to , any network and/or processing system and/or can be designed to be a part of and/or to work in conjunction with any existing soft and hardware and/or to be a part of and/or to be implemented within separate equipment including : but not limited to ,any set of tool(s) and/or device(s) that can be connected to said equipment) that provides a content for client's devices and/or process transaction(s) that is (are) initiated from or with participation of said devices. Said material/content and/or transaction(s) can include but is (are) not limited to the following: inappropriate materials or content for minors or others (pornography, gambling , certain types of advertising or all advertising, violence etc), and/or payment(s) for said content etc. The subsystem (a) can be "on" or "off" (or it may be designed to be only in "on" state).
When the subsystem (a) is "on" (or if it is designed to be only in "on" state) including the case when certain predetermined condition(s) is (are) set up and met one of the following three things listed below or their combination occurs. 1. Subsystem (a) adds special field or fields or any other piece of information to each request for information from a network (for instance the Internet) or to a request to perform a transaction(s) to transaction processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s).
2. Subsystem (a) puts special code (say 1 instead of 0 or some encrypted code or special codes or any other piece of information) within certain pre-defined field (or fields) that exists (exist) in any case within each request. 3. Pre-determined condition(s) (for instance certain time constrains) is (are) set so that just regular usage of said device(s) and/or tool(s) may constitute a fact of positive or negative notification(s).
Said condition(s) can be physically stored in any suitable form which can include : but is (are) not limited to , the following.
Storage (including but not limited to database(s), flat file(s) etc) within credit/debit card processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s).
Storage (including but not limited to database(s), flat file(s) etc) at some Internet location(s) or at some location(s) within any other network. Said condition(s) may include(s): but is (are) not limited to, any combination of conditions that are listed below.
Condition(s) that is (are) set so that certain credit and/or debit card(s) can be used say only from 3 to 5 pm within certain day(s) (which are time constraints).
Condition(s) that is (are) set so that certain sub-limits on each individual transaction within overall limit on credit and/or debit card(s) are imposed.
Condition(s) that is (are) set so that credit and/or debit card(s) can be used to purchase certain product(s) and/or service(s) only.
Condition(s) that is (are) set so that credit and/or debit card(s) cannot be used to purchase certain product(s) and/or service(s). In the case of condition(s) set up and met with regular usage of said device(s)/tool(s) (including but not limited to credit/debit card(s) etc) will constitute positive notification(s) for transaction(s) that is (are) in compliance with said condition(s) and negative notification(s) otherwise.
In summary (1 ), (2) or (3) above or any combination of (1 ), (2) and (3) provides a positive and/or a negative notification(s) to a network (or networks) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s) (including but not limited to a server (or servers) associated with a specific url and/or credit card processing system etc). In case of a negative notification it means that a customer either does not want inappropriate materials or content for minors or others , as described above/herein, including but not limited to, (pornography, gambling , certain type of advertising or all advertising, violence etc) on his/her device(s) and/or tool(s) (which is (are) customer's property) or does not want certain types of transaction(s) or all transactions in which his/her property (including : but not limited to credit and/or debit card(s)) is involved to be processed. In case of a positive notification on the other hand, it means that the customer wants certain specific content on his/her device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or certain or all transaction(s) in which his/her property (including but not limited to credit/debit card(s)) which are/is involved to be processed.
Subsystem (b) on a server (or other equipment including : but not limited to , the following: servers and/or any other processing device(s) and/or system(s) and/or tool(s) and/or network(s) of any nature including : but not limited to , any network and/or processing system and/or can be designed to be a part of and/or to work in conjunction with any existing soft and hardware and/or to be a part of and/or to be implemented within separate equipment including : but not limited to , any set of tool(s) and/or device(s) that can be connected to said equipment) reacts to said notification(s) does one of the following.
If subsystem (a) is "on" (or if it is designed to be only in "on" state) which means that said notification(s) is (are) sent from a client's device(s) including the case where mentioned condition(s) that constitute said notification(s) is (are) set and met and if the notification (or some of notifications) is (are) negative, subsystem (b) sends back to the client (for each set of corresponding negative notifications) some neutral information (say "Your are not allowed to see this content, your parents will be notified" or any other appropriate response) instead of the requested inappropriate (for minors or others) content (say pornographic movie or pornographic picture etc) and/or does not perform certain type(s) of transactions or all transactions. If subsystem (a) is "on" (or if it is designed to be only in "on" state) including the case where mentioned condition(s) that constitute said notification(s) are set and met and if the notification(s) is (are) positive (or for each set of positive notification(s)) which means that certain content and/or certain type of transaction(s) (or all transactions) is (are) requested, requested content is sent to client's device(s) and/or requested transaction(s) is(are) performed. For instance let's say that notification is positive and it is a request(s) to provide a client with information about purchasing of certain goods in addition to regular request(s) to obtain an information from a certain url. In this case , the
advertisement provider can provide this specific advertisement about good(s) and/or service(s) in question that is (are) requested in addition to or instead of an information that is obtained by regular request(s). This is a perfect example of target advertisement rather than a traditional one.
If some notifications are positive and some are negative, than subsystem (b) alters content of every response(s) to every request(s) and/or rejects every transaction (s) that is (are) related to every negative notification and adds requested information (or allows request(s) to be processed) and/or accepts transaction (s) for each request and/or transaction that is related to a positive notification.
If subsystem (a) is "off" or absent, subsystem (b) allows requested content to be sent to the client and/or transaction(s) to be performed.
The present invention provides a method and a system for filtering and/or providing of content received by a client's device(s) (including: but not limited to , Internet content) and/or tool(s) and/or transaction(s) that is (are) performed with said device(s) and/or tool(s) that can be connected to network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s). Said device(s) and/or tool(s) include : but are not limited to , the following: computers, mobile devices such as iPhones, PDAs, etc, regular phones, cell phones, TVs, credit and/or debit cards, cable devices etc.
The system consists from subsystem (a) that is filtering software and/or hardware and/or a set of special codes (or code) and/or any other pieces of information that is installed on a client's device(s) and/or tool(s) (which includes : but are not limited to , the following: computer, phone, TV, credit card, and/or cable device etc) or a set of conditions that is/are related to said device and/or tool functionality. Also subsystem (a) can be a part of existing equipment (including : but not limited to , a logic in existing software and/or hardware) and/or separate device(s) and/or tool(s) that is (are) connected to existing equipment including but not limited to client's device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s).
Subsystem (a) can provide positive and/or negative notification(s).
Negative notification(s) means that the device(s) and/or tool(s) owner does not want certain kind(s) of content/material(s), including: but not limited to, that which is deemed inappropriate for minors or any other group (pornography, gambling, certain advertising or all advertising, violence etc) on his/her device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or does not want his/her property including: but not limited to , credit and/or debit card(s) etc. to be involved in certain type(s) of transaction(s) (including: but not limited to, payment for said content etc) or in all transactions.
Positive notification(s) means that the device and/or tool owner wants specific content that includes: but is not limited to, certain type(s) of advertising or all advertising on his/her property and/or certain types of transaction(s) or all transactions in which his/her property (including : but not limited to , credit and/or debit card(s)) to be processed. Positive notification(s) and negative notification(s) can be used together in any combination. For example, a device(s) and/or tool(s) owner who does not want pornography on his/her device(s) and/or tool(s) (negative notification) but wants car advertisements (positive notification) on said device(s) and/or tool(s).
The system also includes subsystem (b) which is software and/or hardware that reacts to said notification (which will also be described below) that is sent by the subsystem (a). Subsystem (b) which is a software and/or hardware that can be installed for example on a server (or other equipment including : but not limited to , the following: servers and/or any other processing device(s) and/or system(s) and/or tool(s) and/or network(s) of any nature including : but not limited to , any network and/or processing system and/or can be designed to be a part of and/or to work in conjunction with any existing soft and hardware and/or to be a part of and/or to be implemented within separate equipment including : but not limited to , any set of tool(s) and/or device(s) that can be connected to said equipment) that provides a content for client's devices and/or process transaction(s) that is (are) initiated from or with participation of said device(s) and/or tool(s). Also subsystem (b) can be installed on transaction processing system(s) and/or on any tool(s) or device(s) that can be connected to such system and/or be a part of any existing network(s), system(s), tool(s) or device(s). When the subsystem (a) is "on" (or if it is designed to be only in "on" state) including the case when certain pre-determined conditions are set up and met one of the following three things listed below or their combination occurs.
1. Subsystem (a) adds special field or fields or any other piece of information to each request for information from a network (for instance the Internet) or to a request to perform a transaction from a transaction processing system. Said field or fields or said information will mean that subsystem (a) is "on" (or it is designed to be only in "on" state). In case of a negative notification(s), the fact that subsystem (a) is "on" means that the owner of client's device that can be connected to the network (for instance a computer that can be connected to the Internet) does not want the following.
2. Subsystem (a) puts special code (say 1 instead of 0 or some encrypted code or special codes or any other piece of information) within certain pre-defined field (or fields) that exists (exist) in any case within each described request.
3. Predetermined condition(s) (for instance certain time constrain(s)) is (are) set so that just regular usage of said device(s) and/or tool(s) may constitute a fact of said positive or negative notification(s). Said condition(s) can be physically stored in any suitable form which can include : but are not limited to , the following:
Storage (including but not limited to database(s), flat file(s) etc) within credit and/or debit card(s) processing system(s). Storage (including but not limited to database(s), flat file(s) etc) at some Internet location(s) and/or at some location(s) within any other network(s).
For instance said condition(s) may include but are not limited to any combination of the following. Condition(s) that is (are) set so that certain credit/debit card can be used only within certain time frames (say from 3 to 5 pm within certain day(s)). These condition(s) is (are) time constrains.
Condition(s) that is (are) set so that certain sub-limits on each individual transaction within overall limit of said credit/debit card usage are imposed. Condition(s) that is (are) set so that only certain pre-defined set of goods and/or services can be purchased with said credit card.
Condition(s) that is (are) set so that credit and/or debit card(s) cannot be used to purchase certain product(s) and/or service(s).
In this case any regular usage of said credit/debit card(s) will constitute a positive notification(s) for transaction(s) that is (are) in compliance with said condition(s) and a negative notification(s) otherwise.
In summary , (1 ) ,(2) or (3) above or any combination of (1 ) ,(2) and (3) provides a positive or a negative notification(s) to the network (or networks) and/or processing system(s) (including : but not limited to, a server (or servers) associated with a specific url and/or credit/debit card(s) processing system(s) etc). In case of a negative
notification it means that a customer either does not want inappropriate (for minors or others) material/content, as described above/herein, including : but not limited to , the following: pornography, gambling , certain type of advertising or all advertising, violence etc on his/her device(s) (which is customer's property) or does not want certain types of transaction(s) or all transactions in which his/her property (including : but not limited to , credit/debit card(s)) is involved to be processed. In case of a positive notification(s) on the other hand, it means that the customer wants certain specific content on his/her device(s) and/or certain or all transaction(s) in which his/her property (including but not limited to credit/debit card(s)) is involved to be processed.
Subsystem (b) on a server (or other equipment including : but not limited to , the following: servers and/or any other processing device(s) and/or system(s) and/or tool(s) and/or network(s) of any nature including but not limited to any network and/or
processing system and/or can be designed to be a part of and/or to work in conjunction with any existing soft and hardware and/or to be a part of and/or to be implemented within separate equipment including : but not limited to , any set of tool(s) and/or device(s) that can be connected to said equipment) that provides a content for client's devices and/or process transaction(s) that is (are) initiated from or with participation of said device(s) and/or tool(s) reacts to said notification and does one of the following.
If subsystem (a) is "on" (or if it is designed to be only in "on" state) which means that said notification(s) is (are) sent from a client's device including the case where the mentioned condition(s) that constitute said notification(s) is (are) set and met and if the notification (or some of notifications) is (are) negative, subsystem (b) sends back to the client (for each set of corresponding negative notifications) some neutral information (say "Your are not allowed to see this content, your parents will be notified" or any other appropriate response) instead of the requested inappropriate (for minors or others) content (say pornographic movie or pornographic picture etc) and/or do not perform certain type(s) of transactions or all transactions.
If subsystem (a) is "on" (or if it is designed to be only in "on" state) including the case where mentioned condition(s) that constitute said notification(s) are set and met and if the notification(s) is (are) positive (or for each set of positive notifications) which means that certain content and/or a certain type(s) of transactions (or all transactions) is (are) requested, the requested content is sent to a client's device(s) and/or the requested transaction(s) is(are) performed. For instance let's say that a notification is positive and it is a request to provide a client with information about the purchasing of certain goods in addition to a regular request to obtain an information from a certain url. In this case the advertisement provider can provide this specific advertisement about good(s) and/or service(s) in question that is (are) requested in addition to or instead of an information that is obtained by regular request(s). This is a perfect example of target advertisement rather than a traditional one.
If some notifications are positive and some are negative, than subsystem (b) alters the content of every response(s) to every request(s) and/or rejects every transaction (s) that is (are) related to every negative notification and adds requested information (or allows request(s) to be processed) and/or accepts transaction for each request and/or transaction that is related to positive notification.
If subsystem (a) is "off" or absent, subsystem (b) allows the requested content to be sent to the client and/or transaction(s) to be performed.
Sites without said inappropriate content and/or advertising content can just ignore said notification(s) i.e. they do not need to install subsystem (b). Therefore, the functionality of other sites will not be affected.
Referring to FIG. 1 , there is shown a schematic diagram of a system that may be used to embody the principles of the present invention. In a present disclosure we provide numerous specific details for an example of embodiment. However, other embodiments can be implemented without one or more details provided. On the other hand, well known details are omitted from this description. Other examples of embodiments of the invention with said well known details that are omitted from this disclosure are possible and not covered here for brevity sake.
Suppose, subsystem (a) is installed on customer's computer (or any other device that can be connected to the internet for instance cell phone, iPhone, PDA etc) and it is "on" (or it is designed to be always "on").
In this case, in step 1 as shown in figure 1 , when a user (say a minor) entered by any means any url ( including url of a server (or group of servers related to said url) with a content that is inappropriate for minors and others (pornography, violence, gambling etc)) within address bar of his/her browser or clicked on a hyperlink (including a hyperlink to said said content). Said activity will constitute a request to Internet (in particular to the server or servers in question) to provide certain content (including the one that is inappropriate for minors). The request is sent through communication link 7 to step 2 and Subsystem (a).
In step 2, a Subsystem (a) will intercept any such request and add a negative notification that the device owner does not want inappropriate content for minors on his/her device (for example a computer) that can be connected to the Internet. Please note that if certain conditions are set and met, regular usage of said devices will add the mentioned negative notifications automatically as far as subsystem (b) is concerned. Say, the condition is that said content is forbidden from 7 am to 1 1 pm. Described below
subsystem (b) will analyze timing of said request and if said condition is met, request will be treated by subsystem (b) as if it has added negative notification. Then request with added negative notification will go through communication link 8, to the Internet 3, and then to a server(s) represented by 4, that is (are) associated with a specific url as usual.
After that, a response will be different depending on whether or not said server (or servers) has (have) subsystem (b) (for example subsystem (b) can be embodied as software (b)) installed as represented by 4.
If, as represented by branch 1 1 and element 5, said server (or servers) has (have) inappropriate for minors (or others) content, and subsystem (b) is installed on it. In this case said subsystem will react to the notification in question (or lack thereof). If notification is here, subsystem (b) will send back to the client the altered response (via communication link 13 and the Internet 3) which will be neutral content (say "You are not allowed to see this content") instead of the requested pornography, violence and/or any other content that is inappropriate for minors.
If, in the case above, a negative notification is not here, the unaltered content (response) is sent back to the browser of the legitimate user via communication link 13 and Internet 3 as usual.
If, as represented by branch 12 and element 6, said server (or servers) does (do) not have inappropriate for minors and others content, and subsystem (b) is not installed on it. In this case, the unaltered content (response) is sent back to the browser via communication link 14 and the Internet 3 as usual. Cases when a positive notification is added and/or cases for credit and/or debit card processing systems and/or networks other than the Internet are very similar to the disclosed one, and can be easily designed by a person with average industrial skills based on the disclosed one and therefore is omitted for brevity sake. Industrial Applicability
The present invention provides the following.
Almost unbreakable (at least it is 100% unbreakable for minors (and other
individuals/groups) - as there is no database or sophisticated algorithms to determine what is pornography or other inappropriate content to alter or a method and a system for filtering a content obtained from a network (including :but not limited to , Internet, phone network(s), TV network(s), cable network(s) etc). Moreover, as the present invention includes subsystem (b) can be installed for example on a server (or servers or any other processing device(s) and/or system(s) and/or network(s) including :but not limited to , any network and/or processing system and/or device(s) and/or tool(s) that can be connected to any network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or to be a part of existing equipment including : but not limited to , any software and/or hardware) including : but not limited to , any network or processing system that provides
inappropriate for minors (or any other designated group) but legitimate content, it is impossible for minors to obtain said content because subsystem (b) is totally
inaccessible to them.
There is no decision process to decide whether a content that is obtained from a network (including : but not limited to , Internet, phone network, TV network, cable networks etc) is appropriate or not, which increases overall reliability by eliminating the existingand mostly inaccurate and complicated process/systems.
Method and a system for filtering transactions that can be performed with tools and/or devices including : but not limited to , credit and/or debit card(s) and/or other devices etc. Said method and a system dramatically increases protection for legitimate debit and/or credit card (and/or other said devices) owners by setting explicit but unknown for illegitimate users (thief, minor etc) rule(s) on transaction content. Said rule(s) that are another level of protection make(s) credit and/or debit card stealing (or any other illegitimate usage) almost senseless. For example, suppose the rule is set that this specific card can be used for shopping for groceries only. The legitimate owner sets this rule, and he/she is very much aware of it. The rule is not visible anywhere on the card, so for example, when a thief who is unaware of said rule tries to get money from an ATM using this stolen card or tries use it to buy a big screen TV, he/she can be easily caught by the police etc. Additionally, a minor (or other individuals/groups) will not be able to use the card to order inappropriate content such as pornography, gambling, violence etc. Method and a system for filtering of any content (including : but not limited to advertising content) that allows a legitimate user to notify a content provider and/or distributor that certain content is not needed for him/her, and on the other hand to notify a content provider and/or distributor explicitly that he/she is interested in other such content. This method and system will dramatically increase the value of advertising - as it will be delivered not to any audience with almost zero (or even counter productive in case of obtrusive advertising) effect , but will intelligently target the audience that is specifically interesting in information about this particular product and/or service and therefore may order or purchase it.

Claims

What is claimed is:
Claim 1. A system for excluding inappropriate content from the response to an Internet request, comprising the steps of: a) a user makes a content request from a browser or hyperlink on a computer, b) a client-side device on the computer intercepts the request and adds a notification that computer owner does not want inappropriate content in the response, c) the request with notification is sent through the Internet, to a server, and d) if a server-side device is installed on the server, the server reacts to a notification and sends a response without inappropriate content back to the browser, whereas, if a server side device is not installed on the server, the server does not react to the presence of the notification and the requested content is sent .
Claim 2. A method for filtering and/or providing of content received by client's device(s) (including : but not limited to , Internet content) and/or tool(s) and/or transaction(s) that is (are) performed with said device(s) and/or tool(s) that can be connected to network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s). The method consists of the following steps of: a) Providing a network(s) and/or transaction processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s) to which a client's device(s) and/or tool(s) can be connected with a positive or a negative notification(s). A positive notification means that the owner of said device(s) and/or tool(s) wants certain content to be delivered from a network (or networks) on his/her device(s) and/or tool(s), and/or certain type(s) of transaction(s) (including all possible under such conditions transactions) which is (are) originated from and/or is (are) performed with participation of his/her property (including : but not limited to , credit and/or debit card(s)) to be processed. Positive notification can be used, b) instead of or in addition to regular request(s) for information from a network and/or request(s) for transaction processing to a network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s), c) Negative notification means that the owner of said device(s) and/or tool(s) does not want certain content to be delivered from a network (or networks) on
his/her device(s) and/or tool(s), and/or does not want certain type(s) of
transaction(s) (including all possible under such conditions transactions) which is (are) originated from and/or is (are) performed with participation of his/her property (including but not limited to credit and/or debit card(s)) to be
processed. Unwanted content may include : but is not limited to , the following: inappropriate material(s) for minors or others such as pornography, gambling, certain types of advertising or all advertising, violence etc., d) Processing positive and/or negative notification(s) within said network(s) and/or processing system(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s) if needed. Said processing can be done for example on a server (or servers or any other processing device(s) and/or system(s) and/or network(s) of any nature including : but not limited to , any network or processing system), e) Said processing can consists of the following steps, f) Determination if said notification(s) is (are) presented within the request(s) for the information from a network or within the request(s) to process said transaction(s) or if regular usage of said device(s) and/or tool(s) together with certain pre-defined set of condition(s) that is (are) related to device(s) and/or tool(s) functionality constitute such notification(s), g) If said notification(s) is (are) absent then unaltered request(s) and/or
transaction(s) processing occurs in a regular way, h) If said notification(s) is (are) sent from client's device including the case where mentioned condition(s) that constitute said notification(s) is (are) set and met and if said notification(s) (or some of said notification(s)) is (are) negative, then the altered content is sent back to the client and/or, certain type(s) of transaction(s) or all transactions is (are) not performed (for each set of corresponding negative notification(s)).The previous sentence means that some neutral information (say "Your are not allowed to see this content, your parents will be notified" or any other appropriate response) instead of the requested inappropriate (for minors or others) content (say pornographic movie or pornographic picture etc) and/or certain type(s) of transaction(s) or all transactions is (are) not performed, i) If said notification(s) is (are) sent from a client's device including the case where the mentioned condition(s) that constitute said notification(s) is (are) set and met and if said notification(s) (or some of said notification(s)) is (are) positive (or for each set of positive notifications) which means that certain content and/or certain type of transactions (or all transactions) is (are) requested, requested content is sent to client's device(s) and/or requested transaction(s) is(are) performed. For instance let's say that notification is positive and it is a request to provide a client with information about purchasing of certain goods in addition to regular request to obtain an information from a certain url. In this case the advertisement provider can provide this specific advertisement about good(s) and/or service(s) in question that is (are) requested in addition to or instead of an information that is obtained by a regular request. This is a perfect example of target advertisement rather than a traditional one, and j) If some of said notification(s) is (are) positive and some of them is (are) negative, then content is being altered at every response(s) to every request(s) and/or every transaction(s) that is (are) related to every negative notification is being rejected and/or requested information is added (and/or request(s) is (are) allowed to be processed) and/or transaction for each request and/or transaction that is related to the positive notification is being accepted.
Claim 3. A subsystem (a), as recited in Claim 2, that includes but is not limited to: software and/or hardware (including : but not limited to , special device(s) and/or tool(s) that can be connected to device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or processing system(s) as per claim 2 and/or to be a part of existing hardware and/or software as per claim 2) and/or special coding and/or any other piece of information and partly implements methods according to claim 2 and/or special condition(s) that are associated with device(s) and/or tool(s) according to claim 1 that can constitute notification(s) as per claim 2 and/or designed as special device(s) and/or tool(s) that can be connected to above mentioned equipment,
a) If subsystem (a) includes software and/or hardware and/or special coding and/or any other piece of information, said software and/or hardware and/or special coding and/or any other pieces of information is/are installed on (and/or connected to and/or designed to be a part of existing software and/or hardware of ) a client's device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or other systems and/or equipment as per claim 1 (including but not limited to computers, mobile devices such as iPhones, PDAs, etc, regular phones, cell phones, TVs, credit and/or debit cards etc) and/or is (are) designed to be a separate device(or devices) that is (are) connected to said device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or network(s) and/or system(s). In said case if subsystem (a) is "on" (or if it is designed to be only in "on" state) it implements the needed functionality that includes ; but is not limited to , the following functionality that is listed below in bullets from first to third separately and/or any combination of said functionality, b) If it intercepts any request (or at least any request that is sent from the browser using http and/or https protocols in case of Internet) for any information from network(s) as per claim 1 and/or intercepts any request to perform any transaction from transaction processing system(s) and/or device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or adds to such request(s) described notification(s) as per claim 1 and/or provides certain condition(s) under which regular request(s) from device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or other equipment and/or system(s) as per claim 2 is (are) considered to have said notification(s), c) It puts a positive and/or a negative notification(s) to any request for information from any network as per claim 2 (including but not limited to Internet) and/or to any request to any transaction processing system and/or device(s) and/or tool(s) as per claim 1 (including but not limited to credit and/or debit card processing system) to process any transaction as per claim 2, d) It provides special reader (including but not limited to credit and/or debit card(s) reader) of a device and/or tool as per claim 2 with the information that subsystem (a) is "on" (or it is designed to be only in "on" state). Said information may include : but is not limited to, the following: special coding and/or any other piece of information that is located on (or connected with) said device(s) and/or tool(s).
Claim 4. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 that is designed as browser's plugin.
Claim 5. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 that is designed as stand alone program and/or separate device(s) and/or part of existing device(s) and/or tool(s).
Claim 6. A subsystem (a) according to any combination of claims 3 that is a part of (or works in conjunction with) a firewall.
Claim 7. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 that adds field or fields with said notification(s) to each request (or at least to each request within http and/or https protocol in case of Internet) when it is "on" (or when subsystem (a) is designed to be only in "on" state).
Claim 8. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 (in case of Internet) that translates any get request from the browser to a post request and adds said field(s).
Claim 9. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 that translates initial type(s) of request(s) without said notification(s) to another one(s) with said notification(s) that is optimized to use with certain network as per claim 3.
Claim 10. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 that puts said notification(s) in any pre-defined field(s) of said request(s).

1 1. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 that puts said notification(s) in encrypted form.
Claim 12. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 that may use any combination of functionality to provide said notification(s) when software (a) is "on" (or when software (a) is designed to be only in "on" state).
Claim 13. A subsystem (a) according to claims 3 that can be used in conjunction with (or to be a part of) existing filtering systems or existing systems for blocking of certain Internet , phone ,TV , credit/debit card ,and/ or cable content.
Claim 14. A subsystem (a) according to claim 3 and that may have in addition to (or instead of) said combination certain pre-defined set of condition(s) that in fact constitute said positive and/or negative notification(s), said set of condition(s) can be stored in certain persistent storage that includes: but is not limited to, the following: a) Storage (including but not limited to database(s), flat file(s) etc) within processing system(s) (including credit and/or debit) card processing system(s), b) Storage (including but not limited to database(s), flat file(s) etc) at some Internet location(s) or at some location(s) within any other network(s), and c) Storage (including but not limited to database(s), flat file(s) etc) located at separate device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or within device(s) and/or tool(s) in question.
Claim 15, A subsystem (a) according to claims 3 that is designed
to be a set of separate device(s) and/or tool(s) and/or a set of said device(s) and/or tool(s) that can be connected to any equipment according to claim 2.
Claim 16. A subsystem (b) that is installed on a server (or servers and/or any other processing device(s) and/or system(s) and/or network(s) and/or processing device(s) and/or processing tool(s) and/or designed to be a part of existing software and/or hardware of said equipment and/or designed to be separate a device(s) or tool(s) or a set of device(s) and/or tool(s) or any part of said set or to be a part of existing software and/or hardware including : but not limited to , any network and/or processing system) that provides legitimate but inappropriate for minors and/or other groups material/content including : but not limited to, pornography, gambling, advertising, violence etc. Subsystem (b) partly implements method according to claim 2 and has the functionality which includes : but is not limited to , the following: a) Determination if positive and/or negative notification(s) is (are) presented within any request for the information from a network and/or within any request to process said transaction(s) or if regular usage of said device(s) and/or tool(s) together with certain pre-defined set of condition(s) that is(are) related to device(s) and/or tool(s) functionality constitute such notification(s), b) If said notification(s) is (are) absent then unaltered request(s) and/or transaction processing occurs in a regular way, c) If said notification(s) is(are) present and if some of them (or all of them) are negative one(s) or there is a single negative notification, unwanted content is blocked and/or altered and/or unwanted transaction(s) is(are) not processed. Said altering includes : but is not limited to , the following: altering requested content for neutral one (say instead of pornographic movie(s) and/or pornographic picture(s) and/or pornographic story(ies) respond with the something like the following "You are not allowed to see this content"), d) If said notification(s) is (are) present and if some part of them (or all of them) are positive ones or if there is a single positive notification, a certain content (which includes but is not limited to certain advertizing etc) is added to a regular information request(s) and/or said request(s) is(are) allowed to be processed and/or certain transaction(s) is (are) being processed etc,
Claim 17. A subsystem (b) according to claim 16 that includes equipment (including : but not limited to , any needed software and/or hardware) for determination of request(s) origination (including but not limited to said determination using IP).
Claim 18. A subsystem (b) according to claim16 that includes equipment (including but not limited to any needed software and/or hardware) for obtaining additional legal information about credit/debit card(s) owner (including but not limited to his/her address).
