Abstract
The invention is based on the aim of realizing modifiable permanently excited rotor assemblies for greatly differing axial heights, rotational speeds, and mechanical and electromagnetic loads, wherein the permanent magnet mass should be minimized and an optimal air gap density should be ensured at a low flux leakage and high mechanical strength of the rotor in order to achieve a very high rotational speed. The multi-pole permanent magnet rotor having tangentially oriented permanent magnets (1) between rotor poles (2), the permanent magnets being arranged in a protected and sunken manner, the rotor poles being fastened on a main rotor body (3), has rotor poles (2) having specially formed pole bases (2.2) and design embodiments (4.1 to 4.12 and 4.16 to 4.19) comprising fastening elements (10.1 to 10.4) and orienting and mounting aids (11.1 to 11.3, 11.7, 11.11 to 11.13) for orienting and anchoring the rotor poles (2) in fastening grooves (8) complementary thereto, the fastening grooves being rigidly anchored in the non-magnetic main rotor body (3). The permanent magnets (1) have additional fastening possibilities due to non-magnetic pole gap wedges (5.1 to 5.4). Analogous fastening by means of fastening teeth (7) of the main rotor body (3) in the rotor poles (2) is possible. In the method, fastening elements that are partially pre-cooled are driven in or screwed in. The field of application of the invention lies in the construction of rotating electric machines.
