Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to a step implement for an exerciser but more specifically to a step implement for an exerciser and the like provided with distance extending means and rotating means that would allow the user to extend the distance and at the same time rotate said step implement. Background of the Invention:
Well known stepping exercisers merely conduct swaying exercises for the users. Some stepping exercisers like the one mentioned in United States Publication Number US 2007/0232458 issued to Hsueh-Hu Liao on October 4, 2007 introduces the use of handles to assure stability of the user while swaying. Liao's stepping exerciser includes a bracket, a rack, a pair of pedal holders rotatably mounted to an upper portion of the bracket, a pair of pedals, a beam pivoting the bracket to an upper portion of the rack, a pair of connecting levers respectively rotatably connected between the pedals and the rack, a pair of pulleys and a pair of flexible pulling sheets. However, Liao's invention does not provide a distance extending means that would allow said exerciser to be used by taller persons and rotating means that would allow the pedals to be rotated.
Although some exercising devices allows rotation of its pedal, like the one mentioned in United States Patent Number 4,976,425, the prior art only introduces the use of just one pedal without the provision of a distance extending means that would allow multiple functions for the exercising device.
Another prior art is United States Patent Number 6,482,131 that teaches a step adjuster for an elliptical exercising device that includes two assembly frames that are each pivotally connected with a sector gear and a movable sector disc for mutual movement. However, just like the other prior arts, it does not provide multiple functions for the exercising device like rotating and extending the pedals.
While these prior arts fulfill their respective, particular objectives and requirements, the aforementioned prior arts do not disclose the present invention for a step implement for an exerciser and the like.
In these respects, the step implement for an exerciser and the like according to the present invention substantially departs from the conventional concepts and designs of the prior arts.
Object of the Invention:

Another object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like comprising a pedal holder provided on a base member, a pair of horizontal plates to hold said base member, a fix mean where said horizontal plates are provided, a pair of end plates disposed on both ends of said fix mean and a pair of shafts where said end plates are disposed characterized in that said step implement is provided with a rotating means and distance extending means.
Another object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like characterized in that said rotating means comprises a crank shafted assembly. Said crank shafted assembly comprises a disc-like plate member having a central opening and a plurality of angularly positioned holes provided at the body of said disc-like plate member. The angularly positioned holes will be in contact with the pair of pins provided at the lower portion of the rectangular plate while the central opening will be for the shaft of the same. The position of said pins to said angularly positioned holes of said disc-like plate member will demonstrate the possible multiple positions that a user can do with the present invention. Another object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like characterized in that said distance extending means comprises a sliding rail mechanism. Another object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like characterized in that said sliding rail mechanism comprises a rectangular rib and C-shaped embossment. Another object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like characterized in that said rectangular rib is provided with plurality of slots. Another object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like characterized in that at least one of said horizontal plates where said C-shaped embossment is disposed, is provided with a hole.
Another object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like characterized in that said hole can be provided with a pin to facilitate locking of said sliding rail mechanism. This means that said sliding rail mechanism can be extended horizontally depending on the height of the user. In extending said sliding rail mechanism, the user simply pushes said step implement horizontally depending on the distance that the user wishes, and insert said pin to said hole provided on said horizontal plate, wherein said pin will come into contact with the plurality of slots of said rectangular rib thereby locking said sliding rail mechanism. The taller the user, the wider should be the distance of said step implements in order to maximize its function when applied to any exercising device.
Still an object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like that would allow the user to enjoy the multiple functions of the exerciser such as the sliding rail mechanism of said step implement that would allow the user to adjust the distance and angular positions of said step implement.
Still an object of the present invention is to provide for a step implement for exerciser and the like that can be applied on a stepper, bikes and trainers and any apparatus that would be used in fitness clubs, and/or home/leisure equipments, where the user is standing on platforms for physical exercises.
