Abstract

L'invention concerne un agencement de jonction (1) pour câble sous-marin, dans lequel des câbles armés sous-marins sont raccordés. L'agencement de jonction comprend une enveloppe tubulaire (5) dans laquelle s'étendent deux câbles sous-marins à raccorder et à l'intérieur de laquelle les conducteurs des deux câbles sous-marins sont raccordés. L'enveloppe tubulaire (5) comprend une pièce porteuse de courant (11) disposée de manière à pouvoir acheminer au moins une partie du courant conduit par l'armure (10) des câbles, et une partie de frettage (12), fabriquée dans un matériau de conductivité électrique inférieure à celle du matériau de la pièce porteuse de courant, (11), et conçue pour conférer une résistance mécanique suffisante à ladite enveloppe tubulaire (5). La pièce porteuse de courant (11) est intégrée dans ladite partie de frettage(12) avec laquelle elle forme un monobloc.
