また、通信キャリアは、経路・リソースを制御するために、例えば、複数のL2(Layer 2)仮想化・パス技術を活用し、コア網の高信頼化、企業向けVPN(Virtual Private Network)サービスの提供、NGN(Next Generation Network)トランスポートの構築などを実現している。このようなパス技術として、例えば、MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching、マルチプロトコル向けラベル交換方式)系では、MPLS、G-MPLS(Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching)、MPLS-TP(MPLS Transport Profile、トランスポート向けMPLS:旧T-MPLS(Transport-MPLS))等が知られている。また、イーサ系では、VLAN(Virtual LAN、仮想LAN)、PB(Provider Bridging、通信事業者向けブリッジング)(Q-in-Q)、PBB(Providor Backbone Bridging、通信事業者幹線網向けブリッジング)(MAC(Media Access Control)-in-MAC)等が知られている。
また、異種パス技術間の相互接続では、多様な集約・乗り換え方式があり、異種パス技術間の相互接続の標準は整備されておらず、オペレータが独自の運用ポリシーに基づいて実施する場合が多い。また、異種パス技術間の相互接続を行う場合、主要な相互接続パターンでも多数あり、システム毎に作り込みで対応する必要があるため、パス設定を全て自動化することは困難である。
本発明は、以上の点に鑑み、異なるパス技術間の相互接続の集約・乗り換え方式を、網運用者が予め指定した方式で設定し、エンドエンドのパス設定を自動化するトランスポート制御システム及びトランスポート制御サーバを提供することを目的とする。

本トランスポート制御システムは、例えば、トランスポート制御サーバ100と、複数のノード(ゲートウェイノード)112~117と、CPE(Customer Premises Equipment、ユーザ機器)111及び118と、管理端末120とを備える。
各ノード112~117は、それぞれ各セグメント(ネットワークセグメント)101~105の網端に設置されたゲートウェイノードであり、パス技術の異なる各セグメント101~105を接続することができる。各セグメント101~105のパス技術としては、例えば、VLAN、PBB、MPLS-TPなどを用いることができる。なお、各セグメント101~105は、図示の例以外にもPB、MPLSなど適宜のパス技術を用いることができる。CPE111とCPE118間でパスが張られ、ノード112~117及びセグメント101~105を介して通信する。
トランスポート制御サーバ100は、ノード112~117と、管理端末120と通信する。運用者が管理端末120を操作して、ノード112~117、リンク、セグメント101~105の情報がトランスポート制御サーバ100に入力され、トランスポート制御サーバ100は、リンク、ノード112~117のメトリックを設定する。メトリックは、例えばCPE111~118間の経路計算に用いられる。また、トランスポート制御サーバ100は、セグメント101~105間のゲートウェイノードを自動で判別することができる。管理端末120は、例えば、運用者の操作により情報を入力する入力部と、トランスポート制御サーバ100からの情報を表示する表示部と、これらの情報をトランスポート制御サーバ100と通信するインターフェースとを有する。また、トランスポート制御サーバ100と管理端末120は、一体となっていてもよい。図10の例では、セグメント間にひとつのノードが配置されているが、セグメント間に複数のノードが配置されてもよい。
トランスポート制御サーバ100は、例えば、制御処理部200と、通信IF205と、データ記憶部206とを備える。制御処理部200は、GUI制御部201と、経路計算部202と、変換方式管理部203と、ノード設定部204とを有する。データ記憶部206は、セグメント記憶部207と、変換方式記憶部208と、変換テーブル記憶部209とを有する。
セグメント記憶部207は、セグメント・パス技術対応テーブル400が記憶される。また、変換方式記憶部208は、変換方式対応テーブル500と、識別子対応テーブル700とが記憶される。変換テーブル記憶部209は、変換テーブル900が記憶される。なお、セグメント・パス技術対応テーブル400、変換方式対応テーブル500、識別子対応テーブル700、変換テーブル900は、必ずしも各記憶部207~209に分けなくてもよい。各テーブルの構成は後述する。
GUI制御部201は、通信IF205を介して管理端末120と通信し、データの入出力を制御する。経路計算部202は、CPE111、118間の経路を検索し、最適な経路を決定する。変換方式管理部203は、運用者により選択された、パス技術の変換の際に参照するヘッダ/ラベルの識別子(変換前識別子)とパス技術変換後のヘッダ/ラベルの識別子(変換後識別子)に基づいて、変換テーブル900を作成する。ノード設定部204は、変換テーブル900の内容と運用者により選択された変換方式(変換種別)とをノード112~117に設定する。通信IF205は、例えば管理端末120、ノード112~117等の外部の機器と通信するためのインターフェースである。
セグメント・パス技術対応テーブル400は、例えば、セグメントID401に対応して、パス技術情報402を含む。セグメントID401は、例えば、各セグメント101~105を特定する適宜の文字又は番号等を用いることができる。パス技術情報402は、各セグメント101~105で用いられるパス技術を示し、例えば、「PBB」、「MPLS」、「VLAN」、「PB」、「MPLS-TP」等を示す情報が記憶される。なお、セグメント・パス技術対応テーブル400の各情報は、予め記憶される。
図5に、変換方式対応テーブル500の説明図を示す。
変換方式対応テーブル500は、例えば、入側NW(入側セグメント)のパス技術情報501と、出側NW(出側セグメント)のパス技術情報502と、集約可否情報503と、乗り換え可否情報504とを含む。なお、本実施の形態では、例えば、接続する2つのセグメント間のノードにおいて、パケットを受信する側を入側と呼び、パケットを送信する側を出側と呼ぶ。
入側NWのパス技術情報501は、入側のセグメントで用いられるパス技術を示す。出側NWのパス技術情報502は、出側のセグメントで用いられるパス技術を示す。集約可否情報503は、入側NWのパス技術情報501が示すパス技術と出側NWのパス技術情報502が示すパス技術の間で、集約によるパス技術の変換が可能か否かを示す。集約可否情報503は、例えば、集約が可能な場合「可」を示す情報(図4「○」で表示)が記憶され、集約が不可能な場合「否」を示す情報(図4「-」で表示)が記憶される。乗り換え可否情報504は、入側NWのパス技術情報501が示すパス技術と出側NWのパス技術情報502が示すパス技術の間で乗り換えによるパス技術の変換が可能か否かを示し、集約可否情報503と同様に、例えば、「可」又は「否」を示す情報が記憶される。なお、変換方式対応テーブル500の各情報は、予め記憶される。

識別子対応テーブル700は、例えば、入側NW(入側セグメント)のパス技術情報701と、出側NW(出側セグメント)のパス技術情報702と、変換種別703と、変換前識別子704と、変換後識別子705と、識別子払い出し方法706とを含む。
入側NWのパス技術情報701及び出側NWのパス技術情報702は、上述の変換方式対応テーブル500の入側NWのパス技術情報501及び出側NWのパス技術情報502と同様である。変換種別703は、変換方式の種別を示し、例えば、「乗り換え」又は「集約」を示す情報が記憶される。識別子対応テーブル700に記憶される変換前識別子704は、変換前識別子の種別の選択候補を示す。また、識別子対応テーブル700に記憶される変換後識別子705は、変換後識別子の種別の選択候補を示す。変換前識別子の種別704、変換後識別子の種別705は、例えば、「C-TAG(Customer VLAN Tag、ユーザVLANタグ)」、「S-TAG(Service VLAN Tag、サービスVLANタグ)」、「I-TAG(Service Instance Tag、サービス・インスタンス・タグ)」、「B-TAG(Backbone VLAN Tag、バックボーンVLANタグ)」、「LSP」等を示す情報がそれぞれひとつ又は複数記憶される。なお、変換前識別子の種別、変換後識別子の種別とは、上述のようにC-TAGなどの情報であり、変換前識別子とは、後述するように「001」等の値、文字等を指す。
図9に、変換テーブル900の説明図を示す。
変換テーブル900は、例えば、パス情報と、変換前識別子情報と、変換後識別子情報とを含む。図9に示す例では、パス情報としてVirtualPath ID901、I-CPE(Ingress Customer Premises Equipment)902、E-CPE(Egress Customer Premises Equipment)903、TrafficClass904が記憶される。図9の例は、PBBからMPLSに変換する例であり、変換前識別子情報としてC-TAG905、S-TAG906、I-TAG907、B-TAG908の各識別子と、変換後識別子情報としてLSP909の識別子が記憶される。
VirtualPath ID901は、CPE111、118間のパスを識別する情報を示す。I-CPE902は、入側のユーザ機器(例えば、CPE111)の識別情報を示す。E-CPE903は、出側のユーザ機器(例えば、CPE118)の識別情報を示す。TrafficClass904は、パスのトラフィッククラスを示す。なお、TrafficClass904は、省略してもよい。なお、変換前識別子及び変換後識別子は、図示の例に限らず、運用者の選択に応じて適宜のヘッダ/ラベルの識別子が記憶される。
図2に、初期設定時のフローチャートを示す。図3に、管理端末120の画面イメージの説明図を示す。
まず、制御処理部200は、運用者の操作に基づいて選択された入側NWのセグメント101~105のセグメントIDを管理端末120より入力し、入力されたセグメントIDに対応するパス技術を自動的に選択する(S601)。より具体的には、管理端末120が運用者の操作により、入力部からセグメントIDを入力してトランスポート制御サーバ100に送信し、GUI制御部201がセグメントIDを管理端末120より受信する。変換方式管理部203は、受信されたセグメントIDに基づいてセグメント・パス技術対応テーブル400のセグメントID401を参照し、対応するパス技術情報402を選択する。図3は、「セグメントA」が選択され、対応するパス技術「PBB」が管理端末120に表示された例である(図3:301、303参照)。なお、管理端末120は、選択候補となる複数のセグメント名又はセグメントIDを表示部に表示してもよい。また、選択候補となるセグメント名又はIDは、トランスポート制御サーバ100のセグメント・パス技術対応テーブル400のセグメントIDに基づいて表示してもよい。
制御処理部200は、運用者の操作に基づいて選択された出側NWのセグメント101~105のセグメントIDを管理端末120より入力し、入力されたセグメントIDに対応するパス技術を自動的に選択する(S602)。具体的な動作は、上述のステップS601と同様である。図3は、「セグメントB」が選択され、対応するパス技術「MPLS」が表示された例である(図3:302、304参照)。
制御処理部200は、入側NWと出側NWのパス技術に基づいて、集約及び/又は乗り換えを示す変換方式の選択候補を管理端末120に表示する(S603)。具体的には、変換方式管理部203は、ステップS601で選択された入側NWのパス技術情報402と、ステップS602で選択された出側NWのパス技術情報402に基づいて、変換方式対応テーブル500の入側NWのパス技術情報501及び出側NWのパス技術情報502を参照し、対応する集約可否情報503及び乗り換え可否情報504から変換方式の選択候補を判断する。例えば、変換方式管理部203は、集約可否情報503が可(○)の場合、集約による変換方式を選択候補(集約可能)と判断することができる。一方、変換方式管理部203は、集約可否情報503が否(-)の場合、集約による変換方式を選択候補としない(集約不可能)。乗り換え可否情報504についても同様に判断することができる。GUI制御部201は、判断された変換方式の選択候補を管理端末120に送信する。管理端末120は、変換方式の選択候補を受信し、受信された変換方式の選択候補を表示部に表示する。
制御処理部200は、変換前のパケット内でパス技術の変換の際に参照するヘッダ/ラベルの識別子(変換前識別子)を管理端末120より入力する(S605)。なお、変換前識別子の種別は、ステップS604で表示された変換前識別子の種別の候補の中から運用者の操作に基づいて指定される。図3は、変換前識別子の種別として「C-TAG」、「S-TAG」、「I-TAG」、「B-TAG」が指定された例である(図3:306参照)。
図3は、変換後識別子の種別として、「LSP」、変換後識別子の払い出し方法「新規払い出し」が指定された例である(図3:307、308参照)。
制御処理部200は、変換テーブル900を作成する(S607)。具体的には、変換方式管理部203は、パス情報のフィールドと、入力された変換前識別子の種別に対応するフィールドと、入力された変換後識別子の種別に対応するフィールドとを含む変換テーブル900を作成し、作成された変換テーブル900を変換テーブル記憶部209に記憶する。例えば、図9に示す変換テーブル900の例では、パス情報としてVirtualPath ID901~TrafficClass904のフィールドと、ステップS605で入力されたC-TAG905~B-TAG908のフィールドと、ステップS606で入力されたLSP909のフィールドとを含む。また、変換方式管理部203は、入力された変換方式と、入力された変換後識別子の払い出し方法とを例えば変換テーブル記憶部209に記憶する。選択される2つのセグメントに対して、変換方式、払い出し方法、変換テーブル900が変換テーブル記憶部209に記憶される。
制御処理部200は、接続される2つのセグメント毎に、上述のステップS601~S607の処理を繰り返し、接続される2つのセグメント毎の変換テーブル900を作成する。なお、各セグメント101~105間においてゲートウェイノードがそれぞれひとつずつ設置される場合、各ゲートウェイノードに対してステップS601~S607の処理が繰り返されることになる。また、各セグメント101~105間においてゲートウェイノードが複数設置される場合、同じ2つのセグメントを接続する各ゲートウェイノードに対して、ひとつの変換テーブル900が作成される。また、入側と出側を逆にした逆方向の変換テーブル900についても同様に作成できる。
図11に、パス設定時のフローチャートを示す。
制御処理部200は、運用者の操作に基づいて指定された、パスの端点(CPE112、118)の識別子を管理端末120より入力する(S1101)。
経路計算部202は、メトリックを用いてCPE112、118間の経路を検索し、最適な経路を決定する(S1103)。このとき、経路計算部202は、複数の経路の候補を管理端末120に表示し、運用者の操作に基づいて選択された経路を入力して経路を決定してもよい。なお、経路計算部202は、適宜のプロトコル又はアルゴリズム等に従って最適な経路及び経路の候補を求めることができる。経路計算部202は、決定された経路(仮想パス)が経由するノード112~117を特定する。また、経路計算部202は、適宜のタイミングで、決定された経路を経由するパスにIDを割り当てる。
変換方式管理部203は、特定されたノードに対応する各変換テーブル900に対して、それぞれ以下のステップS1105~S1109の処理を実行する。なお、変換テーブル900は、接続される2つのセグメント毎に作成され、記憶されており、特定されたノードが接続する2つのセグメントに対応した変換テーブル900を特定できる。また、変換テーブル900毎に対応するノードの識別子を記憶してもよい。以下に、各ステップS1105~S1109について説明する。
変換方式管理部203は、パスに関連する各識別子を変換テーブル900のパス情報に記憶する(S1105)。具体的には、変換方式管理部203は、割り当てられたパスのIDと、ステップS1101で指定された入側CPE111(又は118)及び出側CPE118(又は111)の識別子と、トラフィッククラスとを、変換テーブル900のVirtualPath ID901、I-CPE902、E-CPE903、TrafficClass904の各フィールドにそれぞれ記憶する。図9に示す例では、VirtualPath ID901に「001」、I-CPE902に「001」、E-CPE903に「002」、TrafficClass904に「A」がそれぞれ記憶される。なお、トラフィッククラスは、適宜設定されることができる。
変換方式管理部203は、変換前識別子を生成し、生成された変換前識別子をVirtualPath ID901に対応して変換テーブル900に記憶する(S1107)。例えば、入側のCPE111と接続されるノード112の変換前識別子については、運用者により設定された識別子が入力されてもよい。また、CPE111とノード112間のプロトコル等に従い生成されてもよい。また、パス上の他のノード113~117の変換前識別子については、例えば、後述するステップS1109で生成される同一セグメントのノード112~116の変換後識別子を用いてもよい。図9に示す例では、C-TAG905~B-TAG908にそれぞれ「001」が記憶される。
変換方式管理部203は、変換後識別子を生成し、生成された変換後識別子をVirtualPath ID901に対応して変換テーブル900に記憶する(S1109)。具体的には、変換方式管理部203は、記憶された変換後識別子の払い出し方法に従い、変換後識別子を生成する。例えば変換後識別子の払い出し方法が「新規払い出し」の場合、変換方式管理部203は、予め複数の識別子が記憶されたプール内の未使用の識別子を用いることができる。また、例えば変換後識別子の払い出し方法が「C-TAGを下位ビットに入れ込む」の場合、変換方式管理部203は、C-TAG905を変換テーブル900より取得し、取得されたC-TAG905の値を下位ビットに含む変換後識別子を生成することができる。なお、上述の例に限らず、払い出し方法に応じて変換後識別子を適宜生成してもよい。図9に示す例では、LSP909に「001」が記憶される。
ノード設定部204は、特定されたノードに対して、対応する変換テーブル900の内容と記憶された変換方式とを設定する(S1111)。設定される変換テーブル900の内容は、例えば、変換前識別子と、変換後識別子とを含む。図9に示す例では、C-TAG905~B-TAG908の各識別子と、LSP909の識別子とが含まれる。なお、ノード設定部204は、これに限らず、変換テーブル900のVirtualPath ID901~TrafficClass904のいずれか又は複数の情報をさらに設定してもよい。
上述のように、パスが経由する特定されたノードに対応する変換テーブル900について、ステップS1105~S1109が実行され、各ノードが設定される。
図7に、集約による変換方式の説明図を示す。
ノード114の変換方式として「集約」が設定され、ノード114が、集約の変換方式に従いPBBパケットをMPLSパケットに変換する場合について説明する。なお、他のノード112、113、115~117、他のパス技術における集約の動作も同様である。
ノード114は、PBBパケット801を受信すると、PBBパケット801をLSPラベルでトネリング(集約、カプセル化)する。具体的には、ノード114は、受信されたPBBパケット801に対し、設定された変換前識別子に対応するヘッダを参照する。例えば、図9に示す例の場合、変換前識別子C-TAG905~B-TAG908のヘッダが参照される。ノード114は、参照された各ヘッダの識別子(例えば、「001」)に基づいて、ノード114に設定された変換テーブルのC-TAG905~B-TAG908を参照し、対応するLSP909を取得する。図9に示す例では、「001」が取得される。ノード114は、取得されたLSP909を含むLSPラベルを生成する。ノード114は、生成されたLSPラベルを用いてPBBパケット801をカプセル化し、MPLSパケット802を生成する。なお、MPLSパケット802は、SA(Source Address、送信元アドレス)、DA(Destination Address、宛先アドレス)のヘッダをさらに含むことができる。SA、DAは、例えば隣接するMPLSノードによって自動的に決定される。
ノード114に変換方式として「乗り換え」が設定され、ノード114が、乗り換えの変換方式に従いPBBパケットをMPLSパケットに変換する場合について説明する。なお、他のノード112、113、115~117、他のパス技術における乗り換えの動作も同様である。
ノード114は、PBBパケット803を受信すると、PBBヘッダをLSPラベルに変換(乗り換え)する。具体的には、ノード114は、上述の集約の場合と同様に、参照されたヘッダの識別子に基づいて対応する変換後識別子を変換テーブル900より取得する。例えば、PBBパケット803のC-TAG、S-TAG、I-TAG、B-TAGの識別子に対応するC-TAG、S-TAG、LSPの変換後識別子が取得される。ノード114は、変換前識別子を、取得された変換後識別子(C-TAG、S-TAG、LSP)に付け替えて、MPLSパケット804を生成する。例えば、図8に示すように、I-TAG、B-TAG、B-DA、B-SAのPBBヘッダが、LSPラベル、SA、DAのMPLSヘッダに変わる。なお、MPLSパケット804のC-TAG、S-TAGは、上述のように、選択された払い出し方法に基づき生成されたものであり、PBBパケット803と同じ場合もあるし、新たに払い出されたものの場合もある。
本実施の形態によると、例えば、運用者の独自ポリシに基づいて、パスの集約又は乗換(変換方式)、変換前識別子の種別、変換後識別子の種別、変換後識別子の払い出し方法を予め定められた選択候補の中から予め指定でき、かつ、CPE間のパス設定時に、パスが経由するゲートウェイノードに対し、予め指定された変換方式、変換前識別子、変換後識別子を自動で設定できる。また、予め指定された払い出し方法に従い、変換後識別子を自動で指定できる。
上述の実施の形態では、制御処理部200は、運用者が接続される2つのセグメントを順次選択し、接続する2つのセグメント毎に識別子対応テーブル700をそれぞれ作成する。
ここで、例えば、制御処理部200は、上述のステップS602で選択された出側セグメント101~105を入側セグメントとし、またステップS601で選択された入側セグメント101~105を出側セグメントとして、図12のステップS1201~1207を実行し、逆方向の識別子対応テーブル700も自動的に作成してもよい。
さらに、CPE111~118間のパスは、接続される2つのセグメントのパス技術が同じセグメント(例えば、セグメント102と104、セグメント101と105)がコア網(例えば、セグメント103)を中心として対称の位置にある場合がある。例えば、VLANとPBBのセグメントを接続するノード113に対しては、同じパス技術のセグメントを接続するノード116が特定される。この場合、制御処理部200は、運用者が管理端末120を利用して入力したセグメント対称性に関する情報を図13のセグメント対称性対応テーブル410としてセグメント記憶部207に保持し、ステップS1301にて2つのセグメント間のノードAの識別子対応テーブル700を作成し、ステップS1302にてその2つのセグメントの対称となる2つのセグメント間のノードBを特定し、ステップS1303にてノードAの識別子対応テーブル700に基づいて、ノードBの識別子対応テーブル700を作成しても良い。
以上、本発明の実施の形態について具体的に説明したが、本発明はこれらの実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、その発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々変更可能である。

Claims (19)
- パス技術が異なる複数のネットワークセグメントを介して装置間で通信するネットワークにおいて、接続される2つのネットワークセグメント間に配置され、受信されるパケットのヘッダを該2つのネットワークセグメントのパス技術に応じて変換して送信する複数のゲートウェイノードと、該ゲートウェイノードを制御するトランスポート制御サーバとを備えたトランスポート制御システムであって、
前記トランスポート制御サーバは、
接続される前記2つのネットワークセグメント毎に、パスの集約又はパスの乗り換えを行うパケットを特定するための変換前識別子及び受信パケットのヘッダに付けられる変換後識別子を含む変換テーブルと、パスの集約又はパスの乗り換えを示す変換種別とが予め記憶された変換テーブル記憶部と、
制御処理部と
を備え、
前記制御処理部は、
パスの端点の前記装置が指定されると、該装置間の経路を計算して該経路上のひとつ又は複数の前記ゲートウェイノードを特定し、
特定された各ゲートウェイノードについて、該ゲートウェイノードが接続する2つのネットワークセグメントに対応する変換前識別子と変換後識別子と変換種別とを前記変換テーブル記憶部から取得して該ゲートウェイノードに設定し、
前記ゲートウェイノードは、
設定された変換種別が集約を示す場合、設定された変換前識別子を含む受信パケットを、設定された変換後識別子を用いてカプセル化して送信し、
設定された変換種別が乗り換えを示す場合、設定された変換前識別子を含む受信パケットに対し、該変換前識別子を設定された変換後識別子に付け替えて送信する前記トランスポート制御システム。 - 前記変換テーブル記憶部は、接続される2つのネットワークセグメント毎に、変換後識別子の払い出し方法がさらに記憶され、
前記制御処理部は、
特定された各ゲートウェイノードについて、該ゲートウェイノードが接続する2つのネットワークセグメントに対応する払い出し方法を前記変換テーブル記憶部から取得し、該払い出し方法に従い変換後識別子を求め、求められた変換後識別子を前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項1に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - 前記払い出し方法は、新規払い出し、及び、変換前識別子に基づく作成のいずれかを示し、
前記制御処理部は、
払い出し方法が新規払い出しを示す場合、複数の識別子が予め記憶されたプールから識別子を払い出して、払い出された識別子を変換後識別子として前記変換テーブルに記憶し、
払い出し方法が変換前識別子に基づく作成の場合、前記変換テーブルに記憶された変換前識別子に基づき、変換後識別子を作成して前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項2に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - 前記トランスポート制御サーバは、
ネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応して、該ネットワークセグメントのパス技術情報が予め記憶されたセグメント・パス技術対応テーブルと、
接続される2つのネットワークセグメントのパス技術情報に対応して、該2つのネットワークセグメント間でパスの集約が可能か否かを示す集約可否情報と、パスの乗り換えが可能か否かを示す乗換可否情報とが予め記憶された変換方式対応テーブル
をさらに備え、
前記制御処理部は、
所望の2つのネットワークセグメントの識別情報を入力し、
各ネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応するパス技術情報を、前記セグメント・パス技術対応テーブルからそれぞれ取得し、
取得された各パス技術情報に基づき前記変換方式対応テーブルを参照して、対応する集約可否情報及び乗り換え可否情報を特定し、
特定された集約可否情報及び乗り換え可否情報に基づき、パスの集約が可能か否か及びパスの乗り換えが可能か否かを判定し、
可能と判定されたパスの集約又はパスの乗り換えを示す変換種別を、入力された前記2つのネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応して前記変換テーブル記憶部に記憶する請求項1に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - 前記制御処理部は、
集約及び乗り換えの双方が可能と判定された場合、集約及び乗り換えのいずれにするか選択するよう表示して、運用者により選択された集約及び乗り換えのいずれかを示す変換種別を入力し、入力された変換種別を前記変換テーブル記憶部に記憶する請求項4に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - 前記トランスポート制御サーバは、
2つのネットワークセグメントのパス技術情報と変換種別とに対応して、変換前識別子の種別と、変換後識別子の種別とが予め記憶された識別子対応テーブル
を有し、
前記制御処理部は、
入力された2つのネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応するパス技術情報と、変換種別とに基づき前記識別子対応テーブルを参照し、対応する変換前識別子の種別と変換後識別子の種別を取得し、
取得された変換前識別子の種別と変換後識別子の種別の中から運用者により選択された、変換前識別子の種別と変換後識別子の種別とを入力し、
前記変換テーブル記憶部に、入力された種別の変換前識別子が格納されるフィールド及び入力された種別の変換後識別子が格納されるフィールドを有する前記変換テーブルを作成する請求項1に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - 前記識別子対応テーブルは、2つのネットワークセグメントのパス技術情報と、変換種別とに対応して、変換後識別子の払い出し方法がさらに記憶され、
前記制御処理部は、
入力された2つのネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応するパス技術情報と変換種別とに基づき前記識別子対応テーブルを参照し、対応する払い出し方法を取得して、接続される2つのネットワークセグメント毎に、取得された払い出し方法を前記変換テーブル記憶部に記憶し、
特定された各ゲートウェイノードについて、該ゲートウェイノードが接続する2つのネットワークセグメントに対応する払い出し方法を前記変換テーブル記憶部から取得し、該払い出し方法に従い変換後識別子を求め、求められた変換後識別子を前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項6に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - 前記識別子対応テーブルは、変換後識別子の払い出し方法が複数記憶され、
前記制御処理部は、前記識別子対応テーブルに記憶された複数の払い出し方法のいずれにするか選択するように表示して、運用者により選択された払い出し方法を入力し、該払い出し方法を前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項7に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - 前記払い出し方法は、新規払い出し、及び、変換前識別子に基づく作成のいずれかを示し、
前記制御処理部は、
払い出し方法が新規払い出しを示す場合、複数の識別子が予め記憶されたプールから識別子を払い出して、払い出された識別子を変換後識別子として前記変換テーブルに記憶し、
払い出し方法が変換前識別子に基づく作成の場合、前記変換テーブルに記憶された変換前識別子に基づき、変換後識別子を作成して前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項7に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - 接続される2つのセグメント間に前記ゲートウェイノードが複数配置され、
前記変換テーブルは、該複数のゲートウェイノードに対応する請求項1に記載のトランスポート制御システム。 - パス技術が異なる複数のネットワークセグメントを介して装置間で通信するネットワークにおいて、接続される2つのネットワークセグメント間に配置され、設定される変換種別が集約を示す場合、設定される変換前識別子を含む受信パケットを、設定される変換後識別子を用いてカプセル化して送信し、設定される変換種別が乗り換えを示す場合、設定される変換前識別子を含む受信パケットに対し、該変換前識別子を設定される変換後識別子に付け替えて送信する複数のゲートウェイノードと、該ゲートウェイノードを制御するトランスポート制御サーバとを備えたトランスポート制御システムにおける前記トランスポート制御サーバであって、
接続される前記2つのネットワークセグメント毎に、パスの集約又はパスの乗り換えを行うパケットを特定するための変換前識別子及び受信パケットのヘッダに付けられる変換後識別子を含む変換テーブルと、パスの集約又はパスの乗り換えを示す変換種別とが予め記憶された変換テーブル記憶部と、
制御処理部と
を備え、
前記制御処理部は、
パスの端点の前記装置が指定されると、該装置間の経路を計算して該経路上のひとつ又は複数の前記ゲートウェイノードを特定し、
特定された各ゲートウェイノードについて、該ゲートウェイノードが接続する2つのネットワークセグメントに対応する変換前識別子と変換後識別子と変換種別とを前記変換テーブル記憶部から取得して該ゲートウェイノードに設定する前記トランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記変換テーブル記憶部は、接続される2つのネットワークセグメント毎に、変換後識別子の払い出し方法がさらに記憶され、
前記制御処理部は、
特定された各ゲートウェイノードについて、該ゲートウェイノードが接続する2つのネットワークセグメントに対応する払い出し方法を前記変換テーブル記憶部から取得し、該払い出し方法に従い変換後識別子を求め、求められた変換後識別子を前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項11に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記払い出し方法は、新規払い出し、及び、変換前識別子に基づく作成のいずれかを示し、
前記制御処理部は、
払い出し方法が新規払い出しを示す場合、複数の識別子が予め記憶されたプールから識別子を払い出して、払い出された識別子を変換後識別子として前記変換テーブルに記憶し、
払い出し方法が変換前識別子に基づく作成の場合、前記変換テーブルに記憶された変換前識別子に基づき、変換後識別子を作成して前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項12に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - ネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応して、該ネットワークセグメントのパス技術情報が予め記憶されたセグメント・パス技術対応テーブルと、
接続される2つのネットワークセグメントのパス技術情報に対応して、該2つのネットワークセグメント間でパスの集約が可能か否かを示す集約可否情報と、パスの乗り換えが可能か否かを示す乗換可否情報とが予め記憶された変換方式対応テーブル
をさらに備え、
前記制御処理部は、
所望の2つのネットワークセグメントの識別情報を入力し、
各ネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応するパス技術情報を、前記セグメント・パス技術対応テーブルからそれぞれ取得し、
取得されるパス技術情報に基づき前記変換方式対応テーブルを参照して、対応する集約可否情報及び乗り換え可否情報を特定し、
特定された集約可否情報及び乗り換え可否情報に基づき、パスの集約が可能か否か及びパスの乗り換えが可能か否かを判定し、
可能と判定されたパスの集約又はパスの乗り換えを示す変換種別を、入力された前記2つのネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応して前記変換テーブル記憶部に記憶する請求項11に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記制御処理部は、
集約及び乗り換えの双方が可能と判定された場合、集約及び乗り換えのいずれにするか選択するよう表示して、運用者により選択された集約及び乗り換えのいずれかを示す変換種別を入力し、入力された変換種別を前記変換テーブル記憶部に記憶する請求項14に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 2つのネットワークセグメントのパス技術情報と変換種別とに対応して、変換前識別子の種別と、変換後識別子の種別とが予め記憶された識別子対応テーブル
をさらに備え、
前記制御処理部は、
入力された2つのネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応するパス技術情報と、変換種別とに基づき前記識別子対応テーブルを参照し、対応する変換前識別子の種別と変換後識別子の種別を取得し、
取得された変換前識別子の種別と変換後識別子の種別の中から運用者により選択された、変換前識別子の種別と変換後識別子の種別とを入力し、
前記変換テーブル記憶部に、入力された種別の変換前識別子が格納されるフィールド及び入力された種別の変換後識別子が格納されるフィールドを有する前記変換テーブルを作成する請求項11に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記識別子対応テーブルは、2つのネットワークセグメントのパス技術情報と、変換種別とに対応して、変換後識別子の払い出し方法がさらに記憶され、
前記制御処理部は、
入力された2つのネットワークセグメントの識別情報に対応するパス技術情報と、変換種別とに基づき前記識別子対応テーブルを参照し、対応する払い出し方法を取得して、接続される2つのネットワークセグメント毎に、取得された払い出し方法を前記変換テーブル記憶部に記憶し、
特定された各ゲートウェイノードについて、該ゲートウェイノードが接続する2つのネットワークセグメントに対応する払い出し方法を前記変換テーブル記憶部から取得し、該払い出し方法に従い変換後識別子を求め、求められた変換後識別子を前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項16に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記識別子対応テーブルは、変換後識別子の払い出し方法が複数記憶され、
前記制御処理部は、前記識別子対応テーブルに記憶された複数の払い出し方法のいずれにするか選択するように表示して、運用者により選択された払い出し方法を入力し、該払い出し方法を前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項17に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。 - 前記払い出し方法は、新規払い出し、及び、変換前識別子に基づく作成のいずれかを示し、
前記制御処理部は、
払い出し方法が新規払い出しを示す場合、複数の識別子が予め記憶されたプールから識別子を払い出して、払い出された識別子を変換後識別子として前記変換テーブルに記憶し、
払い出し方法が変換前識別子に基づく作成の場合、前記変換テーブルに記憶された変換前識別子に基づき、変換後識別子を作成して前記変換テーブルに記憶する請求項17に記載のトランスポート制御サーバ。
