Abstract
La présente invention concerne une nouvelle souche bactérienne de Bacillus pumilus (CECT 7462 ou B. pumilus TCC). Ladite souche peut être traitée par exposition à de basses températures en vue d'un renforcement de ses effets entomopathogènes. L'invention concerne également des compositions renfermant la souche d'origine ou déjà traitée au moyen de ce procédé, et/ou ses structure cristallines, ainsi que leurs utilisations pour la lutte biologique contre les nuisibles ou la production de bio-insecticides. Elle se rapporte en outre à n'importe quel plasmide pouvant être obtenu à partir de la souche et contenant des séquences nucléotidiques, ou aux séquences elles-mêmes, qui donnent lieu à des protéines entomopathogènes, ainsi qu'à l'utilisation de cette souche pour la production d'enzymes d'intérêt industriel.
