本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムによれば、移動局UEの簡易測位が行われる場合、サーバ装置ESMLCの関与が不要となるため、サーバ装置ESMLCの処理能力を浪費することを回避することができる。
Claims (9)
- 交換局が、第1サーバ装置から第1測定要求を受信した場合に、該第1測定要求に応じて行うべき移動局の測位種別について判定する工程と、
前記交換局が、前記第1測位要求に応じて前記移動局の簡易測位を行うべきであると判定した場合、無線基地局に対して第2測位要求を送信する工程と、
前記交換局が、前記第1測位要求に応じて前記移動局の簡易測位以外の測位を行うべきであると判定した場合、第2サーバ装置に対して第2測位要求を送信する工程と、
前記無線基地局が、受信した前記第2測位要求に応じて、前記移動局の簡易測位を行い、該測位結果を該交換局に送信する工程と、
前記第2サーバ装置が、受信した前記第2測位要求に応じて、前記移動局の測位結果を演算し、該測位結果を該交換局に送信する工程と、
前記交換局が、前記無線基地局又は前記第2サーバ装置から受信した前記測位結果を前記第1サーバ装置に送信する工程とを有することを特徴とする移動通信方法。 - 第1サーバ装置と、第2サーバ装置と、交換局と、無線基地局とを具備する移動通信システムであって、
前記交換局は、
前記第1サーバ装置から第1測定要求を受信した場合に、該第1測定要求に応じて行うべき移動局の測位種別について判定するように構成されている判定部と、
前記第1測位要求に応じて前記移動局の簡易測位を行うべきであると判定した場合、前記無線基地局に対して第2測位要求を送信し、該第1測位要求に応じて該移動局の簡易測位以外の測位を行うべきであると判定した場合、前記第2サーバ装置に対して第2測位要求を送信するように構成されている測位要求送信部と、
前記無線基地局又は前記第2サーバ装置から受信した前記移動局の測位結果を前記第1サーバ装置に送信するように構成されている測位結果送信部とを具備し、
前記無線基地局は、
受信した前記第2測位要求に応じて、前記移動局の簡易測位を行うように構成されている測位部と、
前記測位結果を前記交換局に送信するように構成されている測位結果送信部とを具備し、
前記第2サーバ装置は、
受信した前記第2測位要求に応じて、前記移動局の測位結果を演算するように構成されている演算部と、
前記測位結果を前記交換局に送信するように構成されている測位結果送信部とを具備することを特徴とする移動通信システム。 - 第1サーバ装置から第1測定要求を受信した場合に、該第1測定要求に応じて行うべき移動局の測位種別について判定するように構成されている判定部と、
前記第1測位要求に応じて前記移動局の簡易測位を行うべきであると判定した場合、無線基地局に対して第2測位要求を送信し、該第1測位要求に応じて該移動局の簡易測位以外の測位を行うべきであると判定した場合、第2サーバ装置に対して第2測位要求を送信するように構成されている測位要求送信部と、
前記無線基地局又は前記第2サーバ装置から受信した前記移動局の測位結果を前記第1サーバ装置に送信するように構成されている測位結果送信部とを具備することを特徴とする交換局。 - 前記判定部は、前記移動局の測位結果を要求している端末の識別情報、該移動局の測位結果の要求サービス品質又は該移動局の在圏エリアの少なくとも1つに基づいて、該第1測定要求に応じて行うべき該移動局の測位種別について判定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の交換局。
- 前記判定部は、前記第1測位要求によって指定されている前記移動局の測位種別を、該第1測定要求に応じて行うべき移動局の測位種別であると判定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の交換局。
- 前記無線基地局から受信した前記測位結果に基づく所定演算を行うべきであると判定した場合に、前記第2サーバ装置に対して該所定演算を行うように要求するように構成されている所定演算要求部を更に具備し、
前記測位結果送信部は、前記第2サーバ装置から受信した前記所定演算結果を、前記測位結果として前記第1サーバ装置に送信するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の交換局。 - 発信元端末から測定要求を受信した場合に、該測定要求に応じて行うべき移動局の測位種別について判定するように構成されている判定部と、
前記測位要求に応じて前記移動局の簡易測位を行うべきであると判定した場合、交換局に対して、該移動局の簡易測位を行うように要求する第1測位要求を送信するように構成されている測位要求送信部と、
前記交換局から受信した前記移動局の測位結果を、前記発信元端末に送信するように構成されている測位結果送信部とを具備することを特徴とするサーバ装置。 - 前記判定部は、前記移動局の測位結果を要求している端末の識別情報、該移動局の測位結果の要求サービス品質又は該移動局の在圏エリアの少なくとも1つに基づいて、該測定要求に応じて行うべき該移動局の測位種別について判定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のサーバ装置。
- 交換局から受信した測位要求内に地理的エリアが設定されており、該測位要求によって移動局の簡易測位が要求されている場合に、該移動局の測位結果として、該移動局の在圏セルの識別情報又は該在圏セルの緯度経度情報の少なくとも1つを取得するように構成されている測位部と、
前記移動局の測位結果を、前記交換局に送信するように構成されている測位結果送信部と、
受信した前記測位要求内に地理的エリアが設定されておらず、前記移動局における測位が必要であると判定された場合に、該移動局に対して、該移動局の測位を行うように指示するように構成されている指示部とを具備しており、
前記測位部は、受信した前記測位要求内に地理的エリアが設定されておらず、前記移動局における測位が必要でないと判定された場合に、該移動局の測位結果として、該移動局の在圏セルの識別情報を取得するように構成されていることを特徴とする無線基地局。
