Description
Description
Multiuse garment.
The present invention relates to a multiuse garment. In some daily situations it may be necessary to change clothes outdoors hiding from other people's eyes: repairs such as curtains or similar items can be used, although they are not always available. Alternatively, for instance, when you are at the beach, you can use a large towel and wrap it around your body; however, changing clothes while protecting yourself with a towel is not always easy, because you have to hold the towel with one hand and change your clothes by using only one hand.
Moreover, in such a situation, you need to have another towel if you need to get dry.
It must be noted that the use of an ordinary robe does not solve the aforementioned inconveniences, since the robe is normally open on the front and closed with a belt. Consequently, it is not possible to change clothes while wearing a robe, especially if a garment with sleeves must be put on. Other situations with the same need are typical of sports, such as trekking, cycling, marathons or similar events, when athletes may need to take off wet clothes, get dry and put on dry clothes, while hiding from other people's eyes. This need is mainly felt when sports are practised at amateur level, when suitable facilities, such as changing rooms, etc. are not available for the athletes.
Another inconvenience is experienced when it is necessary to take off wet clothes, get dry and put on dry clothes without the possibility of using a surface to hold and reach for the towel or the clothes without getting them dirty. The purpose of the present invention is to solve these and other inconveniences by means of a multiuse garment.
This purpose is obtained with a multiuse garment as claimed in claim
The purpose of the present invention is a multiuse garment that is formed in such a way to be used as repair to change clothes.
According to a further improvement, the multiuse garment of the present invention is made of absorbing material, in such a way to be used as an ordinary towel.
According to another improvement the multiuse garment of the present invention is provided with pockets to hold clothes.
Additional advantageous characteristics are the object of the enclosed claims, which are an integral part of this text. The said characteristics are shown only by way of illustration, without limiting purposes, in the enclosed figure that illustrates an embodiment of the garment (1 ) according to the present invention.
According to the said embodiment, the garment (1) comprises one body (2) with two sleeves (3). The body (2) is open at two opposite ends (2a and 2b) to let the user's head and legs come out, respectively, when it is worn.
Each sleeve has an opening (3a) for the user's arms.
As mentioned, the garment (1) according to the present invention is advantageously formed in such a way to be used as repair to change clothes: the sleeves and the body are large in such a way that the user can wear the garment (1) over wet clothes, pull his arms inside the body (2), take off the wet clothes, and put on dry clothes hiding from other people's eyes, without being constrained during the movements.
The garment (1) is made in such a way that the proportions between the width of the body (X), the length of the body (T)1 the length of the sleeve (Y) and the width of the sleeve (Z) are such that:
- (Y) = (Z) ;
- (X) = (2.5 x Z) ;
- (T) = (Z x 4). Such a garment (1) is formed in such a way to ensure easy movements for the user and excellent repair of the user's body while changing clothes.
Obviously, small changes in the said proportions are permitted, also according to the different sizes, without leaving the protection scope and precepts of the present invention.
Although as a matter of principle the garment (1) can be made of any material, according to an advantageous characteristic the garment (1) is made of a liquid-absorbing material.
In addition to have a limited cost, this type of fabric makes it possible to use the garment (1) as a towel for drying.
Preferably, this material is "non-woven fabric", and specifically it is printable microfibre fabric, known under the name of MICROJET Cl 100 B.
This material is less bulky than ordinary sponge cloth, is highly absorbing, can be washed in the washer at 4O0C and dries rapidly.
This makes it especially suitable to be used in all sports situations not illustrated above, Moreover, this fabric can be printed and personalised.
It must be noted that the garment (1) is not provided with openings in the front, such as zippers, buttons or belts: it must be worn by the user by putting his head through the opening (2b); this prevents the garment (1) from being accidentally opened while the user is drying or changing his clothes. According to another improvement, the garment (1) can be provided with hood (not shown).
Another advantageous characteristic is that the garment (1) comprises two pockets (4 and 5) applied on opposite sides of the body (2), in such a way that one pocket (4) is faced outwards when the user is wearing the garment (1 ) and the other pocket (5) is faced inwards.
With the pockets applied in such a way, the user can use one pocket, for example the external pocket (4), to store the dry clothes and then move them directly into the external pocket (4).
When necessary, the user can put on the garment (1), pull his arms inside the body (2) from the sleeves (3), take off the wet clothes, put them in the internal pocket (5), dry himself with the garment (1), take the dry clothes
from the external pocket (4) and pass them through the sleeves (3) to put them on.
It must be noted that in order to prevent the wet clothes from getting the dry clothes wet, the two pockets (4) and (5) are in staggered position.
Although reference has been made so far to "wet" clothes, it is obvious that the garment (1) according to the present invention can be generally used every time clothes must be changed, for example during a fashion catwalk, a running race or similar events.
