Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a sterilized medical solution, comprising: a step of arranging electrodes by an interval of 1mm to 3mm in a saline solution; and a step of applying a predetermined range of direct current to the electrodes while maintaining the current being applied to the electrodes at a predetermined current range, and switching the direction of the direct current one or more times. An electrolysis process requires the periodic or intermittent switching of the current to prevent the electrolysis from being stopped by the products accumulating in a cathode during continuous electrolysis. The method of the present invention maintains a current within a predetermined range instead of controlling a voltage to prevent a sudden generation of an excessive amount of residual chlorine when a high current is instantaneously applied to an electrode in accordance with the concentration of the saline solution during the switching of the current. Thus, the method of the present invention prepares, in a reliable and steady manner, a sterilized medical solution containing 6 ppm or less of residual chlorine, which causes no irritation to the human body.
