Abstract

A shoe cover for a spiked track shoe has a front body with an upper and a sole extending from the upper. The sole defines a bottom of the front body, and the sole covers only a portion of a sole of the shoe, but not the entire shoe sole. The strap extends rearward from the front body to define a rear body of the shoe cover. The rear body is open both above and below the strap such that the rear body is substantially void of the sole and upper. The strap may be elastic with a fastener that secures to a feature of the strap, such that the strap is adjustable in length.
