Description
Title: "EQUIPMENT FOR TRANSFER OF ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS." This invention refers to an unpublished and functional portable device for the transfer of online and offline electronic transactions, in order to make payment of bills, services, goods and other ones without using paper money, through a buyer's smart card. By connecting it to the device, the card effectiveness will be checked, and afterwards the device requests the amount of the operation and the safety password of both cards, which must be entered in order to transfer the sum from the buyer's to the seller's card. The present object is intended to facilitate financial transactions that users perform daily, without using paper money, thus avoiding the transport and circulation of cash. The smart card has data of its owner, name, unique code with specific identification of each country, numeric or biometric password. Each person will have a unique and nontransferable card; each individual will have only one card. Each businessperson, whether natural or legal person, will have a transfer equipment to consummate the receipts of his sales or payment to suppliers - offline payment. Legal entities will receive payments on demand, as if it were cash, and the credits will be stored in their smart card. Natural persons, such as physicians, salespersons, street vendors, independent contractors and others will have an equipment for the transfer of amounts and a smart card to store their receipts and make their payments. The transfer equipment has two inlets to insert the smart cards, one for the buyer's card and the other for the seller's card. The equipment
does not have memory; thus, it does not store the transactions made; it creates a debit transaction to the buyer's card and credit to the seller's card. To make the transaction, the equipment analyzes if the cards are r valid, if the payer's card has balance and checks the passwords to only then perform the operation with digital certification. When the card is connected to an equipment, it analyzes if such equipment is an authorized one, and only after this operation it will allow the equipment to read its data and proceed with the operation. The equipment has a USB output for connection to a computer or equipment of your bank branch. This procedure allows to enter credits in the card or make deposit in your checking account. A datacenter will evaluate and validate the transactions. In order to be marketed, the cards will be recorded in the datacenter in the name of the owner that is acquiring it, with personal data and numeric or biometric passwords. Additionally, the equipment will also be registered in the datacenter in the name of its owner (natural or legal person). Online transactions may occur in case the equipment, during a transaction, is connected to a computer with access to the datacenter or your bank branch. Cards must be revalidated from time to time to keep the safety of the transactions, of the parties involved and the reliability in the system. This transaction system has multiple advantages, among which: more safety, faster operations, reduction and even extinction of the transport of cash by armored cars. Transactions may be carried out at any time and any place, since they can be both online and offline, among others. When identifying a fraud, the datacenter will automatically block the card, which will be cleared only after attendance of its owner to an accredited store for clarifications.
The equipment consists of a portable device, similar to a pocket calculator, powered by electrical energy or battery, supplied with alphanumeric keys, browsing buttons, screen, inlet for two cards (the buyer's and seller's) and USB output. The card has a magnetic strip, a chip containing all information of the holder's registration, with processing capacity, in view of an embedded microprocessor and memory, with sophisticated safety mechanisms. Thus, an equipment has been developed which offers practicality, safety and industrial applicability. For a perfect view and understanding of the "EQUIPMENT FOR TRANSFER OF ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS," in question, below are the illustrative drawings, where: Fig. 1 - Presents a front perspective view of the object in question; Fig. 2 - Presents a rear perspective view of the object in question; Fig. 3 - Presents a front perspective view of the object in question, with the embedded cards; Fig. 4 - Presents a front view of the card of the object in question. According to the illustration and in its details, the "EQUIPMENT FOR TRANSFER OF ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS," now in question is characterized for being formed by a device for online and offline electronic transactions (1) having two inlets (2-3) for inserting the purchase and sale cards (4), one screen for viewing information (5), alphanumeric keys (6), direction keys (7) and USB output (8), powered by electrical energy (9) or battery, packaged in the rear compartment (1) and a Bluetooth transfer device(14). The purchase and sale card (4) has a magnetic strip (11 ), security chip with all registration information of its owner (12) and printed data (13).
For the advantages it offers and for possessing truly innovative features, the "EQUIPMENT FOR TRANSFER OF ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS' gathers the necessary conditions for earning the Patent of Invention.
