Abstract

A method for collecting fats from cooking foods in a cooking apparatus (1) provided with a cooking chamber (2) for cooking foods comprises collecting said fats in a collecting element (4) placed inside said cooking chamber (2), conveying said fats to a collecting receptacle (10) through a conduit (7) communicating with said collecting element (4) and said collecting receptacle (10), said collecting receptacle (10) being arranged in a housing (8) placed below said cooking chamber (2), enabling or preventing the transit of said fats in said conduit (7) by opening and closing a single on/off valve (9) arranged in said conduit (7), the opening and closing times of said on/off valve being preset and not modifiable or programmable. An apparatus for cooking foods comprises a cooking chamber (2) for said foods, an element (4) for collecting fats produced by the cooking of said foods, said collecting element (4) being arranged in said cooking chamber (2), a housing (8) arranged below said cooking chamber (2) into which a collecting receptacle (10) for said fats is insertible, a conduit (7) that is suitable for placing said collecting element (4) in communication with said collecting receptacle (10), in said conduit (10) there is arranged a single on/off valve (9) activatable at a distance at preset and non-modifiable or programmable opening and closing times.

1 AMENDED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on 31 January 201 1 (31.01.201 1 )
1. Movement element (16), that comprises a frame (17) provided with wheels (18) , said movement element being designed to be associated with a food cooking apparatus
(1) ) which comprises a cooking chamber (2) and a housing (8) arranged below said cooking chamber (2) , said housing (8) being designed to receive a receptacle
(10) for collecting fats produced by the cooking of said foods in said cooking chamber, characterised in that said frame (17) is provided with an upper shelf
(22) and with a lower shelf (19) , said upper shelf (22) being designed to receive a supporting element (23) of said foods and said lower shelf (19) being designed to receive an inserting and extracting element (20) , said inserting and extracting element (20) being designed to insert said collecting receptacle (10) into said housing (8) and to extract said collecting receptacle
(10) from said housing (8) .
2. Movement element (16) according to claim 1, wherein said supporting element (23) is provided with wheels (24) and has dimensions chosen so as to be able to be inserted into said cooking chamber (2) , or into a compartment of a refrigerating cell, on said supporting element (23) grilles (25) being insertible, on which the foods to be cooked are positionable.
3. Movement element (16) according to claim 1, or 2, wherein said inserting and extracting element (20) is provided with wheels (21) and has dimensions chosen so as to be able to be inserted into said housing (8) .

Method of collecting fats deriving from the cooking of foods in a cooking apparatus (1) comprising a cooking chamber (2) for cooking foods, said method comprising collecting said fats in a collecting element (4) placed inside said cooking chamber (2) , conveying said fats to a collecting receptacle (10) through a conduit (7) communicating with said collecting element (4) and said collecting receptacle (10) , said collecting receptacle (10) being arranged in a housing (8) placed below said cooking chamber (2) enabling or preventing the transit of said fats in said conduit (7) by opening and closing a single on/off valve (9) arranged in said conduit (7) , adjusting a duration of intervals of opening and closing time of said single on/off valve, characterized in that said food is inserted into said cooking chamber (2) at the same time as said collecting receptacle (10) is inserted into said housing (8) .
Method according to claim 4, wherein, at the end of cooking, said food is extracted from said cooking at the same time as said collecting receptacle (10) is extracted from said housing (8) .
