Abstract

La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés destinés à fournir une surveillance et des contrôles du coût des communications de données de dispositifs. Dans un mode de réalisation, le procédé fonctionne en recevant une demande d'enregistrement associée à une session d'abonnés, en déterminant une utilisation actuelle des données associées à l'abonné et en recevant des seuils d'utilisation des données. Le procédé consiste en outre à recevoir des quotas associés à la session d'abonnés et à collecter des informations d'utilisation des données associées à la session d'abonnés. Le procédé envoie une notification à l'abonné lorsqu'un quota prédéterminé est dépassé pendant la session de l'abonné et contrôle l'utilisation des données. Le système de surveillance et de contrôle de coût de système comprend un serveur de règles d'utilisation et une application de règles d'utilisation. L'application de règles d'utilisation permet à un abonné de modifier les termes d'un abonnement. L'application de règles d'utilisation affiche des informations d'utilisation actuelle des données sur une base par réseau et par application en utilisant les informations du profil de l'abonné, les informations de la session de l'abonné et l'historique passé d'utilisation de l'abonné fourni par le serveur de règles d'utilisation.
