Abstract
본 발명은 유에스비 전원 공급 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 PC 파워의 대기전원이 상기 PC 파워의 일측에 설치되는 하나 이상의 USB 포트를 통해 상기 USB 포트에 접속되는 외부기기에 인가되도록 처리한다. 본 발명에 의하면, PC의 전원이 꺼진 상태에도 PC 파워의 일측에 별도의 USB 포트를 구비하여 그 파워의 스탠바이 전원을 USB 포트를 통해 USB 포트에 연결된 외부기기에 공급함으로써PC의 시스템의 동작상태에 상관없이 USB 포트에 연결된 외부기기에 안정적인 전원을 공급할 수 있고, PC의 불필요한 전력낭비를 줄이며, PC의 수명을 연장할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
