Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil d'affichage rotatif permettant une reproduction vidéo de haute qualité par rotation de DEL (diodes électroluminescentes) agencées en matrice dans un plan unique, l'appareil comprenant : des modules DEL composés de DEL ; un rotor destiné à porter les modules DEL ; un corps destiné à porter en rotation le rotor ; un moteur destiné à entraîner le rotor en rotation ; et une unité de commande destinée à transmettre l'ensemble des données d'image d'une trame correspondante à chacun des modules DEL de manière à superposer toutes les images d'une pluralité de trames obtenues de chaque module DEL. Comme les données de trames d'images sont obtenues simultanément en même quantité que le nombre de modules DEL utilisés pour obtenir une scène, l'appareil d'affichage selon l'invention offre un affichage vidéo sans interruption, une lecture vidéo fluide, une reproduction vidéo de haute qualité bénéficiant d'une luminosité d'écran accrue, un confort visuel amélioré, une capacité à attirer l'attention l'utilisateur, une sortie sonore réaliste et efficace, et permet l'interruption automatique du moteur ou l'interruption du dispositif par l'utilisateur, lequel peut ensuite prendre les mesures nécessaires en cas de léger décalage d'un arbre rotatif. La sécurité et la durabilité du dispositif s'en trouvent ainsi améliorées, le dispositif protégeant en outre l'utilisateur d'incidents graves.
