Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de contrôle et de restriction comprenant un boîtier de support, une fermeture et un système de guillotine qui retient les câbles et les connecteurs à l'intérieur du boîtier. Le dispositif de l'invention consiste essentiellement en un circuit électronique renfermant un système d'horloge numérique (TIMER) à économie d'énergie pouvant être programmé avec divers événements quotidiens et hebdomadaires, qui présente un bouton de coupure temporaire d'énergie permettant à l'utilisateur d'interrompre la session assignée sans altération de la programmation. En outre, un reproducteur vocal à pré-enregistrement, intégré dans ce dispositif, avertit l'utilisateur de l'imminence de l'expiration du délai qui lui est accordé, ce qui lui permet d'avoir suffisamment de temps pour éteindre le ou les articles connectés au dispositif. Par ailleurs, le dispositif comprend un signal lumineux visible lorsque le dispositif est alimenté en énergie ou lorsqu'il ne l'est pas. Le circuit électrique et ses composants se trouvent à l'intérieur du boîtier de support, lequel est constitué de plastique solide recyclé et possède une fermeture avec clé de caractères alphanumériques et un système de guillotine retenant les câbles et les connecteurs à l'intérieur dudit boîtier. Le boîtier de support comprend des connecteurs femelles pouvant être fixes ou pouvant se déplacer de manière indépendante avec un système d'axes pour faciliter la connexion des articles électriques/électroniques dont on souhaite restreindre et contrôler l'utilisation.
