Abstract

In a method for capturing motions of living beings by way of a mobile capturing unit, wherein a) the living being wears at least one motion capturing device, the motion profile of the motion capturing device is captured during a defined time period, a motion capturing device is used which comprises a pickup designed as a motion-sensitive sensor, the sensor captures motions in space, such as a 3D acceleration sensor, a 3D magneto-sensitive sensor or a 3D gyroscope, b) the living being wears an electronic evaluation unit, the data captured by the sensor is transmitted to the electronic evaluation unit, where it is automatically analyzed according to specified parameters, a comparison is automatically conducted to see whether the results of the analysis are within or outside of a so-called permissibility corridors, and c) the living being wears a signal transmitter, and the electronic evaluation unit automatically transmits a signal-triggering pulse to the signal transmitter when a result of the analysis is outside of the permissibility corridor, it is proposed according to the invention for a captured parameter of the sequence of motions to run as a curve that is plotted as a function of the time, and a pattern of motions is captured based on the sequence of motions, and events that occur within said pattern of motions are detected with precision in terms of time in that in each case two analysis values are correlated.
