Abstract

The invention relates to medicine, more specifically to ophthalmology, and provides for an all-round reduction in eye strain during close activity by combining two optical effects in a single device, namely the sphero-prismatic relief of accommodative and convergent muscular strain arising during close activity, and the spectral relief of the visual system through a reduction in chromatic aberration and phototoxicity with the aid of light filters that cut out the violet-blue and blue-green parts of the spectrum in the ranges of 400 nm and less and around 500 nm respectively.
