Abstract
The invention relates to a device for the selective placement of cables (1, 1.1) in a gap limited by two rotating bodies (2) having an inlet and an outlet wedge, wherein the rotating bodies (2) are mounted on or to a housing (3) and have a variable distance from one another, wherein there is a revolver (4) on the housing that can be shifted parallel to the axis of the rotation bodies (2) having at least two cable guides that each comprise two partial guides (5) wherein one cable is accommodated running through each, wherein the cables (1, 1.1) can be brought in alternation to a position before the gap by a rotation of the revolver and transferred into the gap by a subsequent shift of the revolver (4), can be brought into engagement with the rotating bodies (2) and can be shifted by said rotating bodies. The partial guides (5) each have a wedge or conical-shaped taper (5.1) on the ends facing the rotating bodies (2) and the tapers (5.1) are at least partially (5.1) extended into the inlet and outlet wedges of the gap in an engaging manner.
