Abstract
The present invention relates to a laundry drying machine (1) which allows the selection of a drying time suitable for a load of laundry from a visual indication of the laundry load height inside the drying chamber of the machine. The present invention also provides a method for drying laundry which allows the selection of a drying time suitable for a load of laundry by visually inspecting the laundry load height inside the drying chamber of the machine. The machine of the present invention comprises a visual indication device (4) having visual indicators (5a-5e) corresponding to predefined ranges of the height occupied by the load of laundry housed in a laundry compartment (2), and a drying time selecting device (6) which associates a drying time with each of the visual indicators (5a-5e) from the visual indication device (4).
