Abstract

VoIP 통신을 위해 효율적인 스케줄링을 수행하고, 이에 따라 VoIP 통신을 수행하는 방법을 설명한다. VoIP 통신에 있어서 대화 구간 동안 이용되는 VoIP 패킷 전송에 대한 대역폭 크기 및 전송 간격을 설정하고, 침묵 구간 동안 SID 패킷 전송을 위해 이용되는 대역폭 크기를 설정한다. 침묵 구간 동안 이용되는 대역폭 크기는 SID 패킷 전송에 필요한 대역폭으로 설정될 수 있다. 이를 구분하기 위해 단말은 2가지 CQICH 코드워드를 이용하고, 기지국은 이에 따라 효율적으로 스케줄링을 수행한다.
