Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de mise à jour d'adresse pour ports de nœuds de commutation, et un nœud de communication dans un réseau Ethernet local en boucle. Le procédé englobe les opérations suivantes : lorsqu'une liaison de réseau Ethernet local en boucle est bloquée, les deux nœuds de communication aux deux extrémités de la liaison bloquée envoient périodiquement des messages de mise à jour d'adresses dans les directions s'écartant de la liaison de blocage. Ces messages de mise à jour d'adresse contiennent des listes d'adresses de commande d'accès média (MAC) des nœuds de commutation spécifiques, lesquels nœuds de commutation spécifiques sont ceux dont les informations d'adresse MAC sont incluses dans les tables d'acheminement d'adresses. Les tables sont apprises dans le réseau local virtuel (VLAN) par les ports des nœuds de commutation générant les messages de mise à jour d'adresses connectés à la liaison de blocage (401). Après réception des messages de mise à jour d'adresses, le nœud de commutation détermine si sa propre adresse MAC figure dans les listes d'adresses MAC des nœuds de communication spécifiques et, dans le cas contraire, efface tous les points de transmission d'adresses associés aux ports qui reçoivent ces mises à jour (402). L'invention concerne également un nœud de commutation. Cette invention permet de réduire grandement le volume des messages diffusés pour l'apprentissage d'adresses entre des nœuds de commutation pendant le changement de topologie du réseau.
