Description

Writing instrument
The present invention relates to a writing instrument capable of storing a nib in a shaft cylinder after use.
In particular, writing instruments such as fluorescent pens are used a little bit, such as drawing lines at important points that occasionally appear while reading books, etc., unlike other writing instruments that are used continuously to some extent. The main usage is intermittent use, such as clearing and using a little. In such a case, problems such as ink drying due to the pen tip remaining, ink accidentally sticking to the paper when turning the page with a hand holding the pen, or forgetting to close the lid after use are likely to occur. However, putting a separate lid one by one or knocking the operation part provided at the rear end of the writing instrument and storing the pen tip means that you have to change the writing instrument and finish drawing the line Repeating the operation every time is a very troublesome task.
For such a problem, a writing instrument that automatically stores the pen tip as shown in Patent Document 1 is effective.
The writing instrument shown in this Patent Document 1 is provided with a core at the axis of a pair of upper and lower curved plate members connected at the rear end, and at the tip of the curved plate member, an opening through which the pen tip can protrude and retract is formed. And the curved plate-like member are connected by a foldable connecting member, and the curved plate-like member is pressed and deformed inward by grasping in use, the connecting member is folded and the lead is advanced, and the pen tip is opened from the opening. It protrudes, and after use, the grip is released, the curved plate member is restored, and the pen tip is stored.

However, in the writing instrument of the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, the pair of upper and lower curved plate-like members are wide in structure, are difficult to hold, are difficult to write, and are not easily stored in a writing case or the like. there were.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a writing instrument capable of protruding a pen tip with good operability while having a simple structure.

According to the present invention, it is possible to write by causing the pen tip to protrude by pulling the operation member toward the front side with the fingertip, and automatically by moving the fingertip away from the operation member without changing it. Can be retracted into the shaft cylinder, so it is excellent in operability. Further, since the cover member is located in the shaft tube, it does not come into contact with fingers, and in this respect, it is excellent in operability and is hardly visible from the outside, so that the appearance is good.

Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing the writing instrument 10, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the writing instrument 10 in a state where the pen tip is projected.
Reference numeral 12 denotes a shaft cylinder, and an opening 13 is formed at the tip. The cross-sectional shape of the shaft cylinder 12 is preferably circular but is not particularly limited.
In the shaft cylinder 12, a core material 15 whose tip side is a pen tip 14 is accommodated so as to be movable in the axial direction so that the pen tip 14 can protrude from the opening 13.
In the case of a fluorescent pen, for example, the pen tip 14 can be made of felt impregnated with fluorescent ink. The felt nib 14 may be formed by covering the core 15 with a resin or metal cover (not shown) and exposing only the tip to prevent evaporation of the ink. Alternatively, the nib 14 and the core material 15 may be separate, and the core material 15 may be a cartridge type ink containing ink. Thus, the structure of the nib 14 and the core material 15 is not specifically limited. Moreover, it is not limited to felt pens, such as a fluorescent pen, It can apply widely also to other writing instruments.
Reference numeral 16 denotes a direction changing member having an axial hole 18. The direction changing member 16 is fixed in the shaft tube 12 near the opening 13 by a fixing means such as an adhesive as appropriate. The direction changing member 16 is formed in a block shape in which the tip end portion has a substantially semicylindrical shape. The direction changing member 16 also serves as a guide for moving the core member 15, and the pen tip 14 is guided in the shaft hole 18 so as to be movable. Further, the midway part of the core material 15 is guided by a ring-shaped guide 19 fixed in the shaft tube 12 by an appropriate means such as an adhesive.
Next, reference numeral 20 denotes an operation member, which is guided by the shaft tube 12 so as to be movable in the front-rear direction along a slit 26 (see FIG. 6) provided in the shaft tube 12 in the longitudinal direction.
In the present embodiment, the operation member 20 also serves as a clip. That is, the operation member 20 includes a slide piece (seal member) 21 and a clip piece 22. A part of the slide piece 21 penetrates the slit 24 and enters the shaft cylinder 12, and a wide retaining piece 24 is formed on the distal end side of the entry portion 23, and the retaining piece 24 contacts the inner wall of the shaft cylinder 12. By touching, the operation member 20 can move along the slit 26 (see FIG. 3).
The slide piece 21 covers the slit 26 in as wide a range as possible so that the inside of the shaft cylinder 12 is sealed as much as possible and dust and the like are prevented from entering the shaft cylinder 12.
Next, 28 is a cover member. The cover member 28 is made of a flexible belt-like sheet material, and has a long hole (hole) 30 that is long in the longitudinal direction in the middle part (see FIG. 5). As shown in FIG. 1, the cover member 28 is slidably disposed along the distal end portion of the direction changing member 16 over the distal end portion of the direction changing member 16, and has one end at the operation member 20. The other end is connected to the core member 15 by appropriate means. Therefore, when the operating member 20 moves along the slit 26, the cover member 28 slides along the arc surface at the tip of the direction changing member 16 accordingly. When the writing instrument 10 is not used, the cover member 28 closes the shaft hole 18 by a portion (lid portion) other than the long hole 30 and slides to open the shaft hole 18 when the long hole 30 is positioned at the position of the shaft hole 18. At that time, the nib 14 can penetrate the long hole 30.
Next, reference numeral 32 denotes an urging member made of a coil spring, which is inserted between the ring 19 and a ring portion 33 provided on the core member 15, and the nib 14 is always used (when not in use). The core material 15 is urged toward the rear portion of the shaft cylinder 12 so as to be inside. The urging member 32 may not be a coil spring but may be an elastic member such as a leaf spring.
In order to incorporate the direction changing member 16 and the ring 19 into the shaft cylinder 12 or to assemble the operation member 20 to the shaft cylinder 12, the shaft cylinder 12 is appropriately divided into a plurality of parts in the axial direction, and each of these members is divided. After being assembled, it may be joined with an adhesive or screwed together.
The present embodiment is configured as described above.
Next, an operation when the writing instrument 10 is used will be described.
Normally (when not in use), the core 15 is urged toward the rear of the shaft cylinder 12 by the urging member 32, whereby the cover member 28 is also pulled backward, and conversely, the operation member (clip) 20 is It moves forward via the cover member and is located at the standby position. This state is a non-use state. At this time, since the cover portion of the cover member 28 covers the shaft hole 18 of the direction changing member 28, the inside of the shaft hole 18 is almost sealed, and the evaporation of volatile ink is prevented. (See FIG. 1).
When the writing instrument 10 is used, the shaft cylinder 12 is gripped (FIG. 7), and the operation member 20 is pulled backward with the index finger (FIG. 8). Then, the cover member 28 is also pulled rearward against the biasing force of the biasing member 32, while the side of the cover member 28 connected to the core member 15 is pulled forward, whereby the core member 15 is also moved forward. Move to. When the operation member 20 is further moved rearward, the long hole 30 of the cover member 28 opens the shaft hole 18 of the direction changing member 16, and the pen tip 14 passes through the long hole 30 and further forwards from the opening 13. It protrudes and it becomes a writable state (refer FIG.2, FIG.4, FIG.8). What is necessary is just to write while maintaining the protrusion state of the nib 14 with a little effort on the index finger.
When writing is not continued, the fingertip is removed from the operation member 20. Then, the core member 15 and the cover member 28 are moved backward by the biasing force of the biasing member 32, the pen tip 14 is retracted into the shaft cylinder 12 from the long hole 30 of the cover member 28, and the operation member 20 is moved forward. It moves, it will be in the state in which the shaft hole 18 of the direction change member 16 is covered with the cover member 28, and it will return to a non-use state (standby state).
As described above, in the present embodiment, the pen tip 14 can be projected and drawn by pulling the operation member 20 toward the front side with the fingertip, and the automatic operation can be performed simply by moving the fingertip away from the operation member 20 without changing. In addition, since the pen tip 14 can be retracted into the shaft cylinder 12, the operability is excellent. Further, since the cover member is located in the shaft tube, it does not come into contact with fingers, and in this respect, it is excellent in operability and is hardly visible from the outside, so that the appearance is good. When not in use, the shaft hole 18 where the pen tip 14 is located is hermetically sealed, so that transpiration in the case of volatile ink can be prevented.
Note that the cover member 28 does not have to use a flexible belt-like sheet material, and as shown in FIG. 9, a cover portion 28b may be fixedly provided at a required portion between the two linear members 28a. Between the linear members 28a, 28a other than the lid portion 28b is a hole 30.
Further, as shown in FIG. 10, a seal member 17 such as an O-ring is provided on the inner wall surface of the shaft hole 18 of the direction changing member 16, and the seal member 17 is brought into contact with the outer periphery of the core member 15. The inside of the front shaft hole 18 is preferably airtight to prevent the pen tip 14 from drying. Alternatively, instead of providing a seal member, a ring-shaped convex portion (not shown) is provided on the inner peripheral portion of the direction changing member 16 of the part to narrow the gap between the inner wall of the shaft hole 18 and the core member 15. Thus, drying of the pen tip 14 may be prevented.
11 to 17 show another embodiment of the writing instrument 10.
The same members as those in the above embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 11, 14, and the like, the operation member 20 is provided with a finger hook portion 42 that rotates in the front-rear direction around the rotation shaft 40 on the front end side.
As shown in FIG. 14, the finger hook portion 42 includes a flat plate portion 43 and an upright portion 44, and has a substantially T-shaped cross section. Further, a stopper plate 45 having an arc shape with the rotation shaft 40 as the center is provided at the front end edge of the standing portion 44 of the finger hanging portion 42. One end side of the cover member 28 is connected to the stopper plate 45.
In a non-use state, the finger-holding portion 42 is continuous with the flat plate portion 43 being substantially flush with the clip piece 22 in a state of being rotated leftward in FIG. 11 by the biasing member 32 via the cover member 28. It is like that. By pushing the flat plate portion 43 with a finger, the finger hook portion 42 is rotated rightward in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 15, the slit 26 is formed in a T shape including a horizontal groove extending in the circumferential direction of the shaft cylinder 12 and a vertical groove extending in the vertical direction.
The present embodiment is configured as described above.
When the writing instrument 10 is not used, the stopper plate 45 is positioned in a lateral groove of the T-shaped slit 26 extending in the circumferential direction of the shaft cylinder 12, and even if the operation member 20 attempts to move along the slit 26, the stopper plate 45. Is in contact with the edge of the longitudinal groove (longitudinal slit) of the slit 26 to prevent the operation member 20 from moving. Therefore, the pen tip 14 does not protrude carelessly when not in use.
In use, as shown in FIGS. 12 and 17, the flat plate portion 43 of the finger hanging portion 42 is pushed with the fingertip, and the finger hanging portion 42 is rotated rightward about the rotation shaft 40. Since the stopper plate 45 is formed in an arc shape centered on the rotation shaft 40, the stopper plate 45 goes into the shaft tube 12. Thereby, the one end side of the cover member 28 is pulled back. The finger hook portion 42 can be rotated to a position where the stopper plate 45 is disengaged from the edge of the longitudinal groove of the slit 26 (FIG. 12). When the stopper plate 45 is rotated to a position where the stopper plate 45 is disengaged from the edge of the longitudinal groove of the slit 26, the operation member 20 can now move backward along the longitudinal groove of the slit 26, and the pen tip 14 projects from the opening to write. It can be made possible (FIG. 13).
As described above, in the present embodiment, it is possible to prevent the pen tip 14 from popping out carelessly when not in use, and to prevent the pen tip 14 from drying.
At the time of use, as described above, the cover member 28 can be pulled backward by a predetermined stroke by rotating the finger hook portion 42, and then the operation member 20 is moved backward by the remaining required stroke to move the pen tip 14 over. Therefore, the stroke of pulling the operation member 20 can be shortened. When writing, if the finger is pulled backward long, it becomes difficult to perform the writing operation. However, in this embodiment, it is possible to reduce the operation of pulling the finger backward, so that the operability is excellent. Further, since the turning operation of the finger-holding part 42 is adapted to the movement of the fingertip, the penpoint 14 can be projected by a natural operation (FIGS. 16 and 17).
Note that the stopper plate 45 does not necessarily have to be provided in the finger hanging portion 42. In this case, as shown in FIG. 18, the cover member 28 may be connected to a mounting portion 46 that is long in the lateral direction at the front end edge of the upright portion 44.
In the case of this embodiment, since the turning operation of the finger hanging portion 42 and the operation of pulling the operation member 20 backward can be performed in parallel, the pen tip 14 can be protruded by a more natural operation of the finger. Can do.
19 to 21 show an embodiment in which a stopper mechanism for maintaining the state in which the pen tip 14 is projected is provided.
In the present embodiment, the clip piece 22 of the operation member 20 is provided so as to be extendable and retractable, and can be locked to a locking projection (locking member) 48 provided on the outer peripheral surface of the shaft tube 12 in an extended state. The protruding state of the pen tip 14 can be maintained (FIG. 21).
Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 19 and 20, the operating member body 20a is provided with a slide shaft 50 having a T-shaped cross section, and the clip piece 22 is provided with a groove 22a having a T-shaped cross section. The clip piece 22 is slid in the front-rear direction along the slide shaft 50 so that 50 is fitted in the groove 22a.
A protrusion 51 is provided at the rear end of the slide shaft 50, and a large space 22b in which the protrusion 51 can move within a required range is provided at the rear end side of the groove 22a. At a position where the clip piece 22 is retracted by a required distance, the protrusion 51 is caught by the clip piece 22 which is the end of the space 22b. At the rear end of the clip piece 22, a locking projection 52 is provided that is hooked on a locking projection 48 provided on the shaft cylinder 12 at a position where the clip piece 22 is retracted. The locking projection 52 is hooked on the locking projection 48 by the elasticity of the slide shaft 50, and can be locked with a light force (FIG. 21).
In the present embodiment, when the writing operation is continuously performed, the protruding state of the pen tip 14 can be maintained by a simple operation. In order to return the nib 14 into the shaft cylinder 12, it is only necessary to lift the rear end of the clip piece 22 with a finger and disengage the locking projection 52 from the locking projection 48.
22 to 24 show an embodiment in which a stop mechanism capable of maintaining both the protruding state and the rushing state of the pen tip 14 is provided.
In the present embodiment, slits 54 extending in the circumferential direction are formed at appropriate positions of the shaft cylinder 12 (FIG. 23). A stop ring 55 (FIG. 22) having a substantially C shape is mounted on the shaft cylinder 12 at a position corresponding to the slit 54 so as to be held on the shaft cylinder 12 by its own elastic force. (The attached state is not shown).
A convex portion 56 is provided in the central portion on the inner peripheral side of the stop ring 55, and this convex portion 56 penetrates the slit 54 and projects into the shaft cylinder 12 at a required height. Therefore, the stop ring 55 is rotatable in the circumferential direction of the shaft tube 12 within a range in which the convex portion 56 contacts both ends of the slit 55.
A locking cylinder 58 having a required length is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the core member 15 corresponding to the stop ring 55. A groove 59 extending in the axial direction and grooves 60 and 61 extending in the circumferential direction from both ends of the groove 59 are formed on the peripheral surface of the locking cylinder 58. The tips of the convex portions 56 have entered these grooves.
In the case of the pen-shaped protrusion operation of the pen tip 14, the position of the stop ring 55 is set so that the convex portion 56 of the stop ring 55 is positioned in the groove 59.
When maintaining the writable state in which the pen tip 14 protrudes from the opening portion 13, the stop ring 55 may be turned so that the convex portion 56 enters the groove 61 in FIG. 24.
Further, when the nib 14 is positioned in the shaft cylinder 12 so that the nib 14 does not inadvertently protrude from the opening when not in use, in FIG. It is advisable to turn the stop ring 55 so as to enter.
These stopper mechanisms are not necessarily provided.
25 and 26 show still another embodiment.
In the present embodiment, small wheels 63 and 63 that rotate around the rotation shaft 62 are provided on both ends of the semi-cylindrical portion at the tip of the direction conversion member 16. The outer peripheral surfaces of the small wheels 63 and 63 are projected slightly outward from the peripheral surface of the semi-cylindrical portion.
According to the present embodiment, since the cover member 28 contacts the small wheels 63 and 63, the frictional resistance of the cover member 28 against the direction changing member 16 is reduced, and the cover member 28 can be moved with a relatively small force. Become. Therefore, the biasing force of the biasing member 32 does not have to be so great, and there is an advantage that a small coil spring can be used.
