Abstract

To provide an electrical connector having connection structure of large contact area and high contact pressure. In one aspect, the present invention provides an electrical connector comprising a female contact to be connected to the lead of an electronic component, the female contact having spiral contacting part capable of being expanded and reduced in size, the spiral contacting part forming a loop capable of binding the lead.
