Description

Portable mat, seat cushion and carrying case
Technical Field
The present invention concerns a combined rest (sleeping) mat, seat and carrying case. More specifically the present invention regards a portable and combined rest (sleeping) mat, seat S and carrying case in accordance with the claims.
Background of the Invention
In many situations, there is a need for a seat cushion (chair) and a rest (sleeping) mat which are easy to take with to the beach, on an outing, various events and the like. The common types of traditional seats and mats are not usually combined making mem bulky and thus 0 difficult to take with.
In order to facilitate the taking with of a seat cushion or the like, several portable seats have been developed. Usually, known portable seats with backs most often consist of a seat cushion and a backrest connected to the seat cushion. The backrest achieves stability thanks to the weight that the person sitting brings to bear on the seat cushion. These seats depend on S this weight and can not in themselves support the stability of the backrest They are therefore also dependant on the sitting angle of the person sitting on the seat and can not bear the weight of too great an angle in a convenient way. This also makes this type of design feel wobbly or instable.
There are also seats with metal framed backs that use the support of a reverse angled 0 framework and a band between the two frames to carry the weight without needing a weight of its surface to stay upright. These seats are however quite heavy and hard. All these types of seats sole function is to sit in them and the various elements that support the seals do not contribute to any particular fastening features for the parts when in a folded position.
Rest (sleeping) mats are also found in numerous variants, types and versions. None of these 5 are similar, however, to the design in accordance with the present invention.
Moreover, there is no existing product that combines a rest (sleeping) mat and seat cushion which can be converted into a carrying case in an easy and convenient way. Prior Art
A number of different types of folding seats are previously known. For example, a folding seat is described in patent document US4824171. The foldable seat is comprised of a main body divided into several parts, of which at least two have a hard flat center that is covered S with a soft material. These are in turn covered and interconnected by a soft outer covering. This design differs substantially from the present invention.
A foldable seat is even described in patent document US3627086. The foldable seat is comprised of a main body divided into several parts, of which at least two have a hard flat center that is covered with a soft material. These are in turn covered and interconnected by a0 soft outer covering. Even this design differs substantially from the present invention.
The French patent document FR2094803 describes a foldable seat. The foldable seat is comprised of a main body divided into several parts, of which at least two have a hard flat center that is covered with a soft material. These are in turn covered and interconnected by a soft outer covering. S Even in patent document US5265292 is described a portable folding seat comprised of a main body divided into several parts, of which at least two have a hard flat center mat is covered with a soft material. These are in turn covered and interconnected by a soft outer covering. Even this design differs substantially from the present invention.
