Abstract

La présente invention concerne un initiateur de changement de phase (11) qui est prévu dans un sachet chauffant (10) constitué de parois sensiblement rigides, et contenant un matériau à changement de phase exothermique (20). L'initiateur (11) comprend un agencement de piston (12), le logement dudit agencement étant doté de fentes (15) afin de fournir une communication fluidique entre l'intérieur de l'agencement de piston (12) et le matériau à changement de phase (20) dans le sachet chauffant. Un actionnement du piston (13) de l'agencement de piston (12) agit pour comprimer le matériau à changement de phase dans l'agencement de piston (12) afin de déclencher le début d'un changement de phase qui est ensuite communiqué au matériau à changement de phase à l'extérieur de l'agencement de piston. L'initiateur (11) permet l'utilisation et l'activation d'un matériau à changement de phase exothermique dans un logement rigide.
