Abstract

The present invention relates to a grain-metering device with rotating volumetric chambers essentially made of four parts: a hopper, a metering box, a traction system, and a configurable control circuit. The dimensions and materials have been selected according to the purpose of the device. The operation of the device is as follows: the grain is emptied into the hopper, the configurable control circuit switches on the motor and rotates the motor clockwise at a constant speed, the elastic separator comb sweeps the surpluses from each chamber without allowing said surpluses to exceed 50% of the grain size, which is the limit authorised by the box when rotating. The grain from the chambers is emptied through the outlet opening located at the bottom of the box and said grain is channelled in order to be made accessible. The control circuit uses the sensor and the sensor disc to detect every time each chamber is emptied, interrupting the operation once the desired amount has been unloaded or whenever a bottleneck is detected.
