Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système de traitement optique (100) qui comporte : une unité de base (101) ; une première source de lumière (103) située dans l'unité de base (101) ; une alimentation électrique (105) située dans l'unité de base (101) pour alimenter la source de lumière (103) ; une fibre optique (107), ayant une extrémité d'entrée (108) et une extrémité de sortie (109), l'extrémité d'entrée (108) étant couplée à la première source de lumière (103) pour accepter et guider la lumière (180) à partir de la source de lumière ; un module de pièce à main pouvant être attaché de manière amovible (120) et conçu pour être couplé à un connecteur (106) attaché de façon fixe à l'extrémité de sortie de la fibre optique, le module de pièce à main comportant un module électronique (121) logé dans celui-ci, et un module de communication (130) pour une communication entre l'unité de base (101) et la pièce à main (120), le module électronique (121) étant conçu pour une communication des caractéristiques de la pièce à main à l'unité de base (101) par l'intermédiaire du module de communication (130). L'invention porte également sur un module de pièce à main pouvant être attaché de manière amovible conçu pour une expansion d'un système de traitement optique et sur des procédés de génération d'un faisceau laser pour une application de traitement optique.
