Abstract

The device (2) is structured and configured for programming a hearing device (10), and it is in addition structured and configured for charging an energy storage unit (19) of a hearing device (10) and/or comprises a compartment (39) for retaining at least one energy storage unit (19) for use in said hearing device (10). The system (1) comprises such a device (2) plus said hearing device (10). The method comprises programming a hearing device (10) and providing energy for the operation of said hearing device (10), wherein one and the same device (2) is used for carrying out said steps, in particular wherein said programming and said providing said energy are carried out simultaneously. Said providing energy for the operation of said hearing device (10) can comprise supplying said hearing device (10) with energy for its operation and in particular transferring energy from said device (2) to said hearing device (10).
