Abstract
Tool (1; Ia) suitable for facilitating the carrying of objects by hand that are not provided with anatomical handles such as plastic bags, objects tied with string, bags with thin handles, preventing painful grooves forming inside hands and/or fatigue to the arms.
Description
Tool for carrying objects.
The invention relates to a tool for carrying objects, in particular objects that are not provided with handles or anatomical grips . In the prior art tools of the aforesaid type are not known.
The object of the invention is to provide a tool that enables objects to be carried easily that are not provided with handles or anatomical grips such as plastic bags, objects tied with string, bags with thin handles or the like, preventing painful grooves forming inside hands and/or fatigue to the arms .
The object of the ^invention is achieved with a tool for carrying objects according to claim 1.
Some embodiments of the invention, which are provided purely by way of non- limiting example, are illustrated in the attached drawings, in which:
Figure 1 is a raised view of an embodiment of a tool according to the invention;
Figure 2 is a side view of the tool in Figure 1; Figure 3 is a perspective view of the tool in Figure 1:
Figure 4 illustrates an accessory of the tool in Figure 1;
Figure 5 is a raised view of a further embodiment of a tool according to the invention;
Figure 6 is a side view of the tool in Figure 5; Figure 7 is a perspective view of the tool in Figure 5;
Figure 8 illustrates an accessory of the tool in Figure 5.
With reference to Figures 1 to 4 , a tool 1 according to the invention consists of a body 2, suitable for being gripped with a hand by a user. The body 2 is provided in the top part 3 thereof with at least a notch 4 , intended for receiving the grips or the handles of an object to be carried in a perpendicular position with respect to the line of the fingers. In the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 4 , the body 1 is provided with two notches 4, but there can be any number of notches 4 , for example in order to carry several objects simultaneously. If there is more than one notch 4,
each notch 4 is separated from an adjacent notch 4 by a ridge 5 that enables the grips or handles to be arranged better in the notches 4, in particular in the case of simultaneous carrying of several objects. In the lower part 6 of the tool 1 further anatomical notches 7 are obtained, preferably four in number, that enable the fingers of the user to get a better grasp and hold. The further anatomical notches 7 can be provided with a covering made of rubber or another covering material, in order to make the notches softer.
In the lower pare 6 of the tool 1 two seats 8 can be obtained that are placed at respective ends of said lower part 6, to enable rings 9 to engage in each one thereof, which rings 9 are located at the end of a belt 10, shown schematically and partially in Figure 4.
The belt 10, which can be provided with a buckle (not shown) to adjust the length thereof, enables the weight of the object to be carried to be distributed better between shoulder and hand. The body 2 of the tool 1 can be made of plastics, rubber or metal and be designed with a semicircular, trapezoidal or rectangular shape .
In Figures 5 to 8 a further embodiment of a tool Ia according to the invention is illustrated. The tool Ia comprises a body 2a consisting of two parts 11 and 12 that are mirror and opposite to one another, that can be glued to one another or fixed by through screws 13 located in suitable recesses, or by other suitable fixing means. Similarly to the body 2 of the tool 1 illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the top part 3a of the body 2a is provided with at least a notch 4a intended for receiving the grips or the handles of an object to be carried, preferably a plurality of notches 4a separated by ridges 5a. In the lower part 6a of the body 2a further anatomical notches 7a are obtained, preferably four in number, that enable the fingers of the user to have an easy grasp and hold. The further anatomical
notches 7a can be provided with a covering made of rubber or another covering material , in order to make the further anatomical notches 7a softer.
The body 2a can be provided with two side rings 14, fixed to opposite sides of the body 2a, for fixing to a belt 10a
(Figure 8) by means of snap hooks 15. The side rings 14 can, for example, have a circular, triangular or square shape.
The body 2a of the tool Ia can be made of plastics, rubber or metal and be designed with a semicircular, trapezoidal or rectangular shape.
A reinforcing element 16, for example a metal bar, can be inserted inside thereof, the side rings 14 can be fixed at the end thereof .
Alternatively the side rings 14 can be fixed with sufficiently deep screws that are inserted into the body 2a of the tool Ia, or with any other suitable fixing means.
