  • the couplers 11 and 21 contact the human body 30, they may be configured to add ground electrodes 13 and 23 connected to a ground of the communications devices 10 and 20 as well as signal electrodes serving to transfer data signals.
  • strong signals flow through the human body between the signal electrodes and the ground electrodes. That is, signal strength becomes strong as compared to when the couplers 11 and 21 are configured as only the signal electrodes. Therefore, stronger signals may be applied to the human body 30 or received therefrom.
  • couplers 11 and 21 need to contact the human body 30, they may be separately formed outside the communications devices 10 and 20. However, when the couplers 11 and 21 do not need to contact the human body 30, they may be formed inside the communications devices 10 and 20.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système et une méthode de communication utilisant le corps humain comme antenne dans un réseau corporel, et plus particulièrement sur un système et une méthode de communication permettant des communications sans fil sur bande basse fréquence sans devoir utiliser d'antenne volumineuse, de manière à ce qu'un dispositif de communication côté émission applique des signaux électriques au corps humain via un coupleur côté émission permettant d'utiliser une partie du corps humain comme antenne, et à ce que des signaux électriques produits dans une autre partie du corps sous l'effet de signaux RF soient transférés à un dispositif de communication côté réception par l'intermédiaire d'un coupleur côté réception.
