Abstract

Disclosed is a retaining device (1) which is constituted to have one set of magnets (1A and 1B) buried one by one in the mutually adjoining side faces (2A and 3B) of one pair of teeth (2 and 3) adjoining each other. A magnet (1A) is buried such that the S-pole is directed toward the tip side of the tooth (2) whereas the N-pole is directed toward the root side of the tooth (2). On the other hand, the magnet (1B) is buried such that the S-pole is directed toward the root side of the tooth (3) whereas the N-pole is directed toward the tip side of the tooth (3). As a result, the adjoining teeth are attracted to each other by the magnetic attracting forces between the magnets, so that the adjoining teeth are retained not to enlarge their clearance. The clearance between the confronting faces (8A and 8B) of the individual magnets (1A and 1B) to confront the other magnets (1B and 1A) is determined according to the magnetic attracting force needed. The magnets (1A and 1B) can be prevented from becoming transparent on the tooth surfaces either by coloring the magnets (1A and 1B) in a crown color or by using colorless, transparent magnets.

Description

Dental retention device and dental retention method
The present invention relates to a dental retention device and a tooth retention method used when correcting a tooth.
In orthodontic treatment, after moving the tooth to the target position, a holding device is attached to the moved tooth for at least several years to stabilize the corrected tooth arrangement so that it does not return to its original position. It is common. As such a retaining device, a thin resin floor is formed inside the dentition, a wire is attached to the outside of the dentition, and the teeth are pinched from the buccal side and the lingual side to hold the Hawlay type or Circumferential type There is what is called. In addition, as an improved version of this, the resin floor inside the dentition is omitted to make it a wire (Island retainer by Toshio Harima), and the entire dentition is molded and covered with a thin, colorless and transparent acrylic. Bonding retainers (3 × 3 fixed retainer, cuspid canine interdental retention device, etc.) that adhere a thin wire to the back side of a tooth are used.
Such a conventional retaining device has a problem that it has a heavy burden on the patient because it has to keep wearing a retaining member having a sense of incongruity such as a wire for a certain period of time. Further, since a retaining member such as a wire is stretched between the teeth, there is a problem that cleaning between the teeth becomes difficult. Further, there is a problem that the teeth cannot be retained when the wire is cut or the adhesive is peeled off. In addition, since the adjacent teeth are restrained and fixed, the physiological movement of the teeth is hindered.

Patent Document 1 discloses a dental retention device that can retain teeth without using a wire or the like. This dental retention device fixes a retaining element pair having a complementary shape to adjacent teeth, and makes the complementary shape surfaces of the retaining element pair mesh with each other. Thereby, it can hold | maintain so that an adjacent tooth | gear may not slip | deviate. Patent Document 1 describes that a magnet is built in the retaining element pair and retained by the attractive force of the magnet. In the dental retention device of Patent Document 1, since a wire or the like is not stretched between teeth, cleaning between teeth is easier than before. Further, since the surfaces other than the meshing surfaces of the retaining element pair can be made smooth, the uncomfortable feeling at the time of mounting is reduced as compared with the conventional case. Moreover, since it is a fixed type, it is not necessary to attach or detach it when eating.
Special table 2003-5316695 gazette
However, the retaining device of Patent Document 1 has a problem of cleaning between teeth less than the conventional one, but since the retaining element is attached to the surface of the tooth, the clearance between the retaining element and the teeth or gums is reduced. There is a problem that cleaning is troublesome. In addition, when the patient opens his / her mouth, the retaining element is visible, and the appearance is poor. Particularly, in order to retain the teeth by meshing the retaining element pair, it is necessary to make the meshing surface larger than a certain size, so that the retaining element becomes more conspicuous. Further, in order to fix the retaining element pair so as to be accurately engaged, it is necessary to accurately position the retaining element pair, and there is a problem that a target retaining force cannot be obtained if the fixing position is shifted. In addition, although the retaining device is mounted for a long period of time, if the meshing of the retaining element pair is shifted during that time, there is a problem that a target retaining force cannot be obtained. If the retaining element pair is attracted by a magnet, a certain degree of retaining force can be obtained even if the retaining element pair is disengaged, but if the retaining element pair is displaced, the tooth is retained at the target position. However, there is a problem that the tooth moves to an incorrect position. In addition, if the teeth are restrained by the meshing of the retaining element pair, there is a problem that the physiological movement of the teeth is always hindered.
In view of these points, the problem of the present invention is that the retention device is not conspicuous even when the patient opens his mouth, the appearance at the time of wearing is good, and cleaning between teeth can be easily performed, Another object of the present invention is to provide a dental retention device and a tooth retention method capable of maintaining the necessary retention force and not disturbing the physiological movement of teeth.

In the present invention, with such a configuration, the adjacent teeth can be held at the correction position by the magnetic attraction force or magnetic repulsion force of a pair of magnets embedded in the adjacent teeth. On the other hand, since the teeth are not restrained by a retaining member such as a wire, a retaining force can be constantly applied without disturbing the physiological movement of the patient's teeth. Further, in the present invention, since the magnet as the retaining member is completely embedded in the cavity formed on the teeth, the patient is not given any sense of incongruity at the time of wearing, and can be comfortably spent even in the worn state. In addition, since the retaining element is not fixed to the tooth surface, the retaining device does not interfere with the cleaning of the teeth, and the appearance of the teeth when worn is good.
Here, the first magnet and the second magnet are colorless and transparent magnets, or the surface color is a crown color or a bright color magnet close to the crown color, so that the embedded magnet is placed on the tooth surface. It can be prevented from being seen through, and it can be difficult to visually recognize that the retaining device is embedded from the outside. Therefore, the natural appearance of the teeth can be maintained even when worn.
Further, by attaching marks indicating the positions of the S pole and the N pole to the first magnet and the second magnet, it is possible to position the magnets on the respective teeth without making a mistake in the polarity of each magnet. , Can prevent installation mistakes.
Furthermore, the embedding holes of the first magnet and the second magnet formed in the two teeth to be retained may be closed with dental fillers after embedding the magnet. By doing so, the embedding hole can be repaired so as not to be conspicuous at all in appearance, so that the natural appearance of teeth can be maintained even at the time of wearing.
In the present invention, the adjacent teeth can be held at the correction position by the magnetic force generated between the magnets embedded in the adjacent teeth. Therefore, since the teeth are not restrained by a retaining member such as a wire, the retaining force can be continuously applied without disturbing the physiological movement of the patient's teeth. Further, in the present invention, since the magnet as the retaining member is embedded in the teeth, the patient is not given any sense of incongruity at the time of wearing, and can be comfortably spent even in the worn state. Furthermore, since the retaining element is not fixed to the tooth surface, the retaining device does not interfere with the cleaning of the teeth, and the appearance of the teeth when worn is good.
It is explanatory drawing which shows the state which mounted | wore the tooth | gear with the holding | maintenance apparatus of 1st Embodiment. It is explanatory drawing which shows the state which mounted | wore the tooth | gear with the holding | maintenance apparatus of 2nd Embodiment.
FIG. 1 is an explanatory view showing a state in which the retaining device of the first embodiment is mounted on a tooth. The retaining device 1 includes a plurality of pairs of magnets, and each magnet pair includes magnets 1A and 1B having the same shape. The magnets 1A and 1B are large enough to be embedded in the teeth, and in this example, are formed in a small bar shape or plate shape. The magnets 1A and 1B are magnetized so that one end side in the longitudinal direction is an S pole and the other end side is an N pole.
The magnets 1A and 1B are embedded one by one in two adjacent teeth that are to be retained. For example, the magnet 1A is embedded in the tooth 2 of the dentition shown in FIG. A magnet 1B is embedded in a side surface 3B facing the side surface 2A of the tooth 3 adjacent to the tooth 2 so as to face the magnet 1A. Further, one magnet 1B of another pair of magnets is embedded in the other side surface 3A of the tooth 3, and the other magnet 1A is embedded in the side surface 4B of the adjacent tooth 4 facing the side surface 3A. . Similarly, one magnet 1A in another pair of magnets is embedded in the other side surface 4A of the tooth 4, and the other magnet 1B is mounted on the side surface 5B of the adjacent tooth 5 facing the side surface 4A. Is embedded.
In this way, each pair of magnets ( magnets 1A, 1B) constituting the retaining device 1 is mutually connected in a pair of adjacent teeth (tooth 2 and tooth 3, tooth 3 and tooth 4, tooth 4 and tooth 5, etc.). One is embedded in the side facing each other. In the illustrated example, each magnet 1 </ b> A is arranged so that the south pole faces the tip side of the teeth 2, 4 and the north pole faces the root side of the teeth 2, 4. On the other hand, each magnet 1 </ b> B is arranged so that the S pole faces the root side of the teeth 3, 5 and the N pole faces the tip side of the teeth 3, 5.
When embedding and fixing the magnet 1A or 1B on the side surfaces of the two teeth to be retained, first, the surface of each tooth is shaved and a recessed embedding hole 6 (the first cavity and the first cavity is larger than the magnet 1A or 1B). 2nd cavity is formed. Each magnet is positioned in the formed embedded hole 6 so that each magnetic pole of the magnet 1A or 1B is oriented in the above-described direction. At this time, the embedding depth of each magnet is determined so that the facing surface 8A facing the magnet 1B in the magnet 1A and the facing surface 8B facing the magnet 1A in the magnet 1B are facing each other at a predetermined interval. The magnets 1A and 1B are provided with marks indicating the positions of the S pole and the N pole at both ends thereof. Therefore, by performing positioning while checking this mark, it is possible to position the magnets without making a mistake in polarity, and to prevent mounting mistakes. After positioning, each magnet is fixed in the embedded hole 6 using an adhesive or the like as necessary. Then, a dental restoration material 7 such as a resin is filled from above the magnet 1A or 1B fixed in the embedded hole 6 to completely close the embedded hole 6.
After embedding and fixing, the magnets 1A and 1B of each magnet pair are covered with the restoration material 7, and the south pole of the magnet 1A faces the north pole of the magnet 1B, and the north pole of the magnet 1A is the south pole of the magnet 1B. Confronting the pole. Accordingly, the magnets 1A and 1B are attracted by a magnetic attractive force corresponding to the strength of magnetization and the distance between the facing surfaces 8A and 8B. As a result, adjacent teeth to be held are pulled toward each other by the magnetic attractive force, and each tooth of the pair of adjacent teeth is held at the correction position.
FIG. 2 is an explanatory view showing a state in which the retaining device of the second embodiment is mounted on a tooth. The retaining device 11 includes a plurality of pairs of magnets ( magnets 11A and 11B) formed in a bar shape or a plate shape having a length slightly shorter than the lateral width of each tooth. The magnets 11A and 11B are magnetized so that one end side in the longitudinal direction is an S pole and the other end side is an N pole.
The magnets 11A and 11B are embedded one by one in two adjacent teeth that are to be held. For example, magnets 11A and 11B are embedded in a straight line on the lingual or lip side surfaces of the teeth 12 and 13 of the dentition shown in FIG. The magnets 11A and 11B are embedded in an arrangement in which poles having different polarities are opposed to each other. In FIG. 2, each magnet is positioned such that the right end of the magnet 11A embedded in the tooth 12 is the S pole and the left end of the magnet 11B embedded in the tooth 13 is the N pole. At this time, the embedding position is determined so that the end face 18A on the S pole side of the magnet 11A and the end face 18B on the N pole side of the magnet 11B face each other at a predetermined interval. Similarly, a magnet 11A is embedded in the tooth 14 adjacent to the tooth 13, and the magnet 11A is arranged so that the left end thereof is an N pole. Then, the end face 18B on the N pole side of the magnet 11A embedded in the tooth 14 and the end face 18A on the S pole side of the magnet 11B embedded in the adjacent tooth 13 are positioned so as to face each other at a predetermined interval. .
The magnets 11A and 11B are attracted by the magnetic attractive force according to the strength of magnetization and the distance between the end faces 18A and 18B after being embedded and fixed. Thereby, similarly to the case where the retaining device 1 is mounted, adjacent teeth to be retained can be pulled toward each other by the magnetic attractive force, and each of these teeth can be retained in the correction position.
The embedding method of the magnets 11A and 11B in the retaining device 11 is the same as that of the magnets 1A and 1B. Further, the magnets 11A and 11B may be embedded on either the tongue side surface or the lip side surface of the tooth. In this retaining device 11, when retaining three or more tooth rows, the number of magnets embedded in each tooth is smaller than that of the retaining device 1.
Since the retaining device 1 and the retaining device 11 described above embed the magnets 1A, 1B or the magnets 11A, 11B, which are retaining members, on the side surfaces, the lingual side surface, the labial surface, etc. of each tooth, the patient feels completely uncomfortable at the time of wearing. There is no, you can spend comfortably even wearing. Also, as long as the magnet is not removed, the teeth can continue to be held, so that the teeth can be held semipermanently so that they do not return to the pre-correction state, and the tooth alignment can be maintained semipermanently. it can.
Also, unlike the removable retaining device, there is no need to attach or detach the retaining device, so you can be free from troublesomeness. In addition, when the retaining member is fixed to the tooth surface, the retaining member may be damaged or peeled off from the tooth surface, but may not be retained. In this embodiment, the retaining member is embedded in the tooth. There is no such worry. In addition, since the teeth and teeth are pulled to the correct position by magnetic attraction without restraining the teeth by a retaining member such as a wire, the retaining member does not interfere with the physiological movement of the patient's teeth and the necessary retaining force. Can be given continuously. Also, the retaining device does not interfere with the cleaning of the teeth. Furthermore, since the magnets 1A and 1B, which are retaining members, are not fixed to the tooth surface, the appearance of the teeth when worn is good.
Here, the magnet is usually metallic or black, but the magnets 1A and 1B or the magnets 11A and 11B of each embodiment are previously colored or coated in the same color as the crown color of the patient's teeth. Therefore, the color of the embedded magnet does not penetrate the teeth or the surface of the restorative material 7, and the portion of the patient's teeth in which the magnets 1A and 1B or the magnets 11A and 11B are embedded does not appear black. Therefore, even if the patient opens his / her mouth, the retaining device 1 or the retaining device 11 can be prevented from touching human eyes. Although the crown color varies depending on the patient, the surface color of the magnet does not have to be exactly the same as the crown color, and the standard crown color or a light color close to the crown color is used. Alone can prevent the magnet color from penetrating the tooth surface. Further, if a colorless and transparent magnet is used as the magnets 1A and 1B or the magnets 11A and 11B, it is possible to prevent the magnets 1A and 1B from being seen through as in the case of coloring in a crown color or a light color.
As an example of a colorless and transparent magnet, for example, a colorless and transparent magnetic thin film can be formed by forming a thin film by combining titanium dioxide and cobalt. Therefore, when a magnet formed using such a thin film material is used. Good.
The size and shape of the magnets 1A and 1B or the magnets 11A and 11B may be any size and shape that can be implanted in the patient's teeth. It can be changed. Further, when the necessary holding force varies depending on the teeth, each magnet may be magnetized so as to obtain a magnetic attraction force corresponding to the required holding force. Moreover, it is good to determine the embedding position of magnet 1A, 1B or magnet 11A, 11B so that it may become the space | interval which can obtain the required magnetic attraction force.
1 and 2, a plurality of pairs of magnets having the same shape ( magnets 1A, 1B and magnets 11A, 11B) are provided, but the shape of the magnet pairs may be different between the pairs. In the same set, the shape of the pair of magnets may be different from each other. Furthermore, one magnet is embedded and fixed on both sides of each tooth or on the lingual surface of each tooth, but a plurality of magnets can be embedded and fixed.
As a simpler configuration, the magnet may be attached to the tooth surface with an adhesive or the like without being embedded in the tooth. At this time, by forming the magnet in a thin film shape or a thin plate shape, the unevenness of the tooth surface due to the attachment of the magnet may be reduced as much as possible. If a colorless and transparent magnet or the same magnet as the crown color is used, the magnet fixed to the tooth surface becomes inconspicuous, which is good in appearance.
In the above embodiment, the magnets are embedded so that the magnetic poles of different polarities face each other, and the teeth are held by magnetic attraction, but each magnet is embedded so that the magnetic poles of the same polarity face each other, Teeth may be retained by magnetic repulsion. For example, when performing correction to move the adjacent teeth from the overlapping state to the non-overlapping state, the poles of the same polarity are placed on the adjacent side surfaces of the adjacent teeth in order to keep these teeth in the correction position. A magnet is embedded in a state where the two face each other.
