Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus for driving a continuous variable valve. One embodiment of the present invention comprises: a camshaft integrally coupled with a driving cam; a movable cam which is rotatably coupled to the camshaft, and which actuates a locker arm to shut the valve; a link member which transmits the power of a driving cam to the movable cam; and a movement means for moving the link member relative to the movable cam. The apparatus for driving a continuous variable valve of the present invention has a simple configuration which can be manufactured at a lower cost and which occupies a small area when installed. The apparatus of the present invention can continuously vary the lift and duration of the valve.
