Abstract

The present invention relates to a regenerative evaporative cooler, comprising: a plurality of dry channels through which indoor air passes; a plurality of wet channels built to extract a part of the air that has passed through the dry channels and to undergo heat exchange with the dry channels; an evaporation water supply arranged over the wet channels, for supplying evaporation water to moisturize the wet channels; and a dry channel shield arranged over the dry channels, for guiding the evaporation water supplied from the evaporation water supply to enter the wet channels and for shielding upper portions of the dry channels. The advantages of the dry channel shield include effective prevention of spraying by water from the evaporation water supply from entering the wet channels, as well as simplify the construction of the evaporation water supply.
