Abstract

The invention comprises a protective helmet of the type used for riding motorcycles and the like, incorporating, on its outer surface, preferably in the rear middle zone, a holder which is able to receive, passing through it, a chain, cable or other element for fastening and/or fixing it. Said holder may be in the form of a metal plate which has an omega configuration and which is fixed via its end arms to the surface of the helmet by means of rivets or similar elements. The holder may be incorporated within the actual helmet, being embedded or glued, thus providing an opening for receiving the fastening element. It may also incorporate a mechanical or magnetic element for locking a ring in its rest position.
