Abstract

A method includes receiving a request to replace a first payment device having a first card stock identification, determining if the first payment device is eligible for an upgrade based on the data associated with the first card stock ID, and causing data for at least one of a plurality of payment devices to be displayed to a user. The data associated with the first card stock ID is stored in a card stock database. The at least one payment device has a second card stock ID and is one of an upgraded payment device or a non-upgraded payment device based on the determination. A selection of a replacement payment device having the second card stock ID is received, and the replacement payment device is issued to a cardholder in response to the selection.
