Abstract

L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de benzimidazole de formule générale (I) ou un oxyde N correspondant, l'un quelconque de leurs stéréoisomères ou un mélange quelconque de ces stéréoisomères, y compris un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable correspondant. Dans ladite formule, Ra, Rb et Rc sont indépendamment hydrogène ou alkyle, et Rd est un groupe phényle, pyridyle ou pyrimidyle éventuellement substitué par un ou plusieurs substituants pris indépendamment dans le groupe constitué de halo, trifluorométhyle, trifluorométhoxy, cyano, nitro, alkyle, hydroxy, hydroxyalkyle et alcoxy. L'invention concerne aussi l'utilisation de ces produits comme modulateurs du complexe du récepteur GABAA. Selon d'autres aspects, l'invention concerne l'utilisation de tels composés, dans le cadre d'un procédé thérapeutique, et des compositions pharmaceutiques les renfermant.
