Abstract
A connecting device (10, 70) for a photovoltaic solar module (100) for connecting at least one external electrical conductor (2) to an electrical connecting system (3, 104) of the solar module (100) comprises an outer housing (11, 71), which may be arranged on the solar module (100), and current-carrying components (21, 22, 31) which are coated with plastics material in such a way that only the contact region of the current-carrying components for contacting the electrical connecting system (3, 104) of the solar module (100) is accessible, or which are coated with plastics material in such a way that only the contact region of the current-carrying components for contacting the electrical connecting system (3, 104) of the solar module (100) and the contact region of the current-carrying components for contacting the external electrical conductor (2) are accessible. The outer housing (11, 71) is thus completely closed on a side (14, 74) remote from the solar module (100).
