Abstract

One embodiment of the present invention relates to a broadcast receiving system and to a control method thereof. The broadcast receiving system comprises an intermediate frequency circuit unit which tunes the high frequency signal output through an antenna to an intermediate frequency signal, and outputs the intermediate frequency signal, a first SAW filter which enables only the band of a digital broadcast frequency signal from among the intermediate frequency signal output from the intermediate frequency circuit unit to pass, a digital amplifier which amplifies the digital broadcast frequency signal attenuated by the first SAW filter, a second SAW filter which enables only the band of an analog broadcast frequency signal from among the digital broadcast frequency signal amplified by the digital amplifier to pass; and an analog demodulation unit which demodulates the analog broadcast frequency signal filtered by the second SAW filter, and outputs the demodulated signal.
